Pita Land Shawarma - Barrie

Ritik was SUPER friendly! It was my first time there and he was so nice and gave me samples of some soup and even wrote an uplifting message on my pita which was so so sweet.

Pita was delicious, flavourful and filling. Highly reccomend! I'll be going back for sure

Went in with my girlfriend Alison, and was blown away by the service- it was my girlfriend's first time at a pitaland location. Though she was unsure of what to have, Ritik came to our aid with enthusiasm and knowledge. He made suggestions and recommendations for the both of us without assuming, gave us a tailored and personalized service that fulfilled both of our desires, and smiled the entire time.

The food was delicious, but it was Ritik alone confirmed our decision to return whenever in the area. Cannot recommend this location enough.

Went in on a beautiful fall afternoon, looking for some food- found an even finer experience than we expected.

Ritik was as experienced a worker as one could hope for, he was attentive, helpful, explained things on the menu, and made recommendations without being overbearing. He even made time to check on us after we started eating! Fantastic, we will be coming back anytime we’re in the area.

2 of us went here for Saturday night dinner out. There is a great special on until end of Oct - chicken shawarma plate for $10. I still got 2 lunches out of mine the next 2 days. Excellent value and delish.

Amazing vibes so peaceful and relaxing. Also the girl working was busy but so kind and gave me and another customer free lentil soup ? which was absolutely delicious and totally above and beyond amazing customer service! I had an amazing experience here food and service was amazing but the only thing I would have bad to say about here is that the bathroom wasn’t sanitary and it was disgusting to see someone had used it and didn’t flush the toilet after they were done using it

I hate to disparage a restaurant because I realize reviews bring in business which is why I stopped there on my way through town but my experience was not very good. My first impression was that the restaurant was quite dated and somewhat dingy but decided to give the place a chance and placed my order. Was a little put off when I was selecting the ingredients for my shawarma and saw the edges on the lettuce where browning (did not choose the lettuce obviously). The taste was not terrible but seemed a bit off - maybe one of the sauces. Anyway on my way out I visited the restroom as I would be on the road for a while and noticed it was quite dirty. Not the sink and toilet like you would expect but dirty smudges on the lower walls and back of door where it would likely take some weeks to accumulate. Anyway I wouldn't have left the review and forgotten all about the restaurant if I did not experience diarrhea about 1 hour after eating there. I don' t feel the Google rating was appropriate - not a pleasant experience!
