I had been wanting to try this place out for awhile now.And after seeing them on my TikTok I decided to go ahead. My experience there was so unpleasant the lady taking the orders with blonde hair. Not the one with blond hair and pink was extremely rude. Mean while to the consumers that were ordering before I did she was overly nice to them. When it become my turn she looked at me and said just give me a minute, and shut the screen door we’re you order from extremely hard. When she returned she just stared at me for a good while. It was really odd and weird until. I said what I wanted to order she didn’t greet me. She didn’t say how you were doing. She just stared at me .Another couple came after me and placed the order and she greeted them, and asked what could I get for you, but I didn’t receive the same interaction. I noticed afterwards that. I was the only visible minority there at the time. She just gave me a feeling as if she didn’t want serve me ,and that I wasn’t welcome there. I will never go back again. Plus their fish overly battered and extremely oily.

Outstanding fish and chips; nice and lightly fried with a superb light crisp taste. Outstanding and truly a hidden gem. Highly recommended with great customer service too. Prices are expensive but not prohibitively so.

Excellent experience every time we go! We've come here every summer for the last 3years when we come visit Barrie. Very generous portions for good prices. The staff are all so nice too.
Everything was amazing. Me and my wife tried everything gluten-free. We got the Haddock, fried mushrooms, mozzarella sticks, and the fried pineapple and everything was wonderful and super delicious. They were very friendly and welcoming. We are definitely coming back many many many times. 🥰

I have been gluten for over ten years (not by choice) and mozzarella sticks have always been my favourite, but becoming gluten free I couldn’t enjoy that snack anymore. I found this female owned fish and chips truck in Barrie Reel Em in Fish & Chips!!!! They’re are so many gluten free options besides the fish, mozzarella sticks, mushrooms and deep friend pineapple which is the perfect dessert after eating some delicious Haddock fries and coleslaw. I will be adding this to summer to do every year! The owner is so sweet and I can’t wait to come back.

What an incredible find! Was hungry on our way up North, and found this gem on the Find Me GF app. Very good fish and chips, not too greasy, and the homemade tartar sauce was fantastic. The service was so friendly. Don’t expect a sit down restaurant here though - you either eat in your car or on picnic benches (it’s a food truck vibe). Definitely want to be back soon!

I was always hearing rumors of this place and decided to finally go. I have made it a goal to try out multiple fish and chip dishes from different restaurants and stands. This place fit the bill, love the portion, the fish, the taste. If you haven't gotten the chance to go, I say go for it :).
