Best Food Truck in all of Barrie Ontario to get Fish & Chips from as well as being the best place to get Fish & Chips from in the city. Staff is always so friendly and the Fish and Chips are always so filling. Literally one of the few places in the city where the food has never disappointed me. It's always really good. Even love their Gravy for the fries and not usually a fan of gravy on fries.
Highly recommend this food truck if u have a craving for Fish & Chips cause there is not another place in Barrie that u will get better Fish & Chips and I 100% mean that. Always telling people about how amazing the Fish & Chips are there.
Don't believe any bad reviews about this place cause they don't know what they are talking about when it comes to the food.

Stopped by Reel Em In for a mini poutine and ended up with a sad stack of dry fries wearing a gravy toupee. The so-called “gravy” was thick enough to spackle drywall and didn’t bother making it past the top layer.
The bottom fries? Gravyless. The tray? Grease stained. It’s like the poutine forgot how to poutine halfway through.
Serious question: did someone sit the gravy down and tell it to stay put? Because mission accomplished.

Ok, I just stumbled on this place a week before closing for the winter. Too bad, it's not cheap, but it's totally worth it. Nothing was greasy, as you might expect. Will definitely go back in the spring.

I used to come here before they moved to the new location, poutine was the best in town.
Stopped by the new spot a few times this season on my way through town and was sad to experience what it’s become - much fewer cheese curds and the bottom half of it is dry with no gravy. Not much of a poutine anymore sadly.
Hopefully they can figure this out and make poutine great again!!

Crispiest fish and chips! It’s crazy the gluten free ones are that good. This place has a constant flow of traffic, and a very loyal fan base. The ladies working knew many of the customers by name and their orders.
It’s a shame it can’t be open year round, the food is just incredible. They are closing for the year on November 24th, so get in before then.
The fish with half fries no slaw is good enough for two people who aren’t super hungry.
Note that it is takeout only, with cash and debit as the only ways to pay.

As soon as I got off the GO Train from Toronto, my mind already had lunch ideas going. I saw this place - checked off that it was in walking distance - and also noticed the excellent reviews. I thought: why not go for it myself?
Best decision I've made. The menu is comprehensive, is full of variety and options. The serving sizes are generous and meet the pricing for sure. I had a poutine and haddock meal and when I say that the poutine was the best I have had in a long time I mean it.
The chip van is a nice enclosure, with outdoor seating provided and is bright pink so you cannot miss it. You grab the drinks yourself, and are given your own (large selection) of seasonings and condiments for your own liking.
The ladies at staff was super, they must have saw me walk in and asked where I was going - because they wanted to configure my order so the food would not go soggy while walking (they seperated the poutine into a different container and also cut a hole in the fish container to let steam escape) - really thoughtful and shows they are knowledgeable of their work.
Some helpful advice, if you catch yourself hanging around Allandale/Waterfront and craving for some fish and chips - give this place a visit.
Definitely would go again.

I can finally have gluten free fish and chips!! Obviously had to try the haddock dinner plate. The batter has so much flavour and is SO crispy without being oily. Great chunky chips, with amazing tartar sauce and coleslaw. They've got malt vinegar too. The meal was so filling but didn't sit heavy and the service was exceptional! Thanks again!
