Love this little place that gives Tim Hortons a run for it's money.❤️?It's quick, yummy, quiet (even when busy). The bagels are amazing. It offers different seating options...inside and out. It offers some 'fancy' options for a quick lunch that are affordable and delicious. It's super clean. It's a one block north from the walking trail, which makes a great destination while out on a walk.Parking: Park in the back behind the building...but don't block the lane way for others

Came here last summer for my anniversary! All the way from jersey, and this place SLAPS!! Very good stuff. The nino’s muffuletta was delicious and the mocha coffee was the perfect combination???

I've been three times now and each time the service has been consistently friendly and attentive. Not sure what some of the other reviewers are going on about?I grew up on good bagels having had a Jewish bakery around the corner from my childhood home and I will admit I have a bias for Montreal bagels. Since moving out of Toronto and up to Simcoe County, fresh, good bagels are not easy to find. Salty blonde's bagels are not Montreal style but that's okay. They're more of a New York or TO style. Their bagels are the perfect vehicle for the menu and fillings they are putting on the bagels. The bagels are well baked and soft inside and anytime I've gone they're fresh. We always take home half a dozen along with their chive and scallion cream cheese. The American bagel with cheese sauce and egg is my go to. I also have tried the crab beignets which are delicious as well as the potato pave also delicious. The second most important thing that has to be good, with a good bagel, is the coffee and the coffee is excellent! I also like that there is an option for a bunch cocktail. Mimosa, French 75, Margaritas are some of the available cocktails. It's a nice little spot with fresh, airy interior and a good vibe. Nice to see a small menu focused on doing what they do well. Will definitely return again.

I was not happy with the salmon so I left it all on.my plate. The waitress didn't even ask me why I hadn't eaten it or came over to our table to ask if we needed anything, if everything was alright..etc..we were just given our order and then we even had to go up to the cash to get our bill and I asked the waitress had she not noticed that I had not eaten my lunch and she said yes. That was it. Not sorry about your experience or maybe offer an apology. Won't be going back there again that's for sure. I guess customer service is not a priority any more.

Takeout and eating in are both great experiences, reliable and consistent. I only wish it was larger inside (more seating) and the washrooms were more accessible (down a flight of stairs). The food is very good and creative - the French toast eggs Benedict is weird but insanely good, and their lox on everything bagel is my weekend go-to. You have to try it! I’m not the biggest fan of their coffee.Parking: Parking can fill up quickly, and the parking lot is a bit awkward.Wheelchair accessibility: Bathrooms are only accessed down a flight of stairs.

The bagels are good but the service is terrible. Been in a few times they're really rude and just seem annoyed to serve you. Ordered twice from Uber eats and both times the container of cream cheese was missing! Managed to get a refund but come on how hard is it to bag a few bagels and container of cream cheese ? Parking is brutal, been twice and it was busy so I parked in the back. Both times some genius blocked the laneway so on one could get out. They should have a sign. Miss Nino's

The best bagels in Barrie! The lox sandwich is a must try. Absolutely incredible. Better than Montreal bagels. 100% worth the price as the bagels are huge and they pack the toppings on. Great service too!

Salty Blonde is a great spot for a light lunch or a quick connect with friends. Especially if you live in the east end. Conveniently located across from the No Frills plaza on Blake Street near Johnson, this restaurant is so much more than a bagel bar. It has a clean, spare Scandinavian vibe (a huge departure from the Italian decor when it was Nino’s!) a great grab and go cooler full of menu favourites and beverages and something on the menu for everyone. Hankering for a hearty soup on a cold day? A warm bagel with your favourite topping? Or just to warm your hands around a hot coffee? There’s booth, bench, and bar seating, so there’s always a spot to sit, even though the place is not large. When we popped in during the lunch hour on a Friday there was a family of four at the counter, a handful of friends in a booth, and a full spread of professionals along the centre cafe table. It was busy - always a good sign! Jamie, the host and manager greeted and seated us, and was spot-on and attentive in suggesting options, bringing our food to us hot, as soon as it was ready, following up to see all was acceptable, and generally buzzing tables and tidying up. I enjoyed the salty blonde bagel and my husband had the heirloom tomatoes on an open-faced bagel. We also tried the butternut squash soup. And of course coffees. A nice touch was the bottled water brought as soon as we were seated while we looked over the menu. An altogether nice break in a place that understands the value of a warm welcome, quick service, and a good price point. We’ll be back! Photos below.
