So this would be my 4th time giving this place “a chance”. This spanned over a year. The same end results as previous visits. Rude staff who argue with you and do not understand what customer respect and worth is. Specific to an older Asian male waiter. The food was okay. Some things tasted better than others but it’s definitely not great over all. They over dose their hot food with sodium and specifically msg. Huge doses of msg. I got sick every time that I ate there as I am allergic to msg. The last time I took a few samples of the food out of the restaurant and into my work lab to have tested and sure enough….very high spikes of msg. Please do not eat here if you are allergic to msg. They also aren’t the cleanest restaurant around, that’s for sure. We noticed on two occasions, dirty dishes and staff not being very sanitary. I would avoid this place. There are authentic Asian/sushi places around that are much better and don’t charge as much. Hope this review helps.

This is the best ever sushi experience I've ever experienced. There is simply no parallel to it. In Barrie, where there is a local drought of good food, this is the light in the darkness. The waiters were amazing. 10/10 wouldn't not recommend. Everything is amazing. I could live off of this food forever. Only restaurant in Barrie you would ever need. A little pricy but worth every penny. I actually did a school project on this place not so long ago.

Extremely disappointed with the basil, chicken lettuce wraps. It was absolutely tasteless. All it had was lots of onions and a little sauce that had no taste, the lettuce was still wet!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Very rude customer service and rushy… apparently it’s a buffet but if you take food and it’s not finished from your plate you will be charged for the meal you didn’t finish. I would not recommend. Staff needs training on Proper customer service and hospitality.

Went with family and overall, the food, the service and the atmosphere was great the servers were polite and welcoming. We had several of the appetizers and all of them were quite good. The sushi was excellent, and so were the beef dishes, the chick tho left room to be desired. I found it on the mushy side like it had been boiled in the sause instead of fried.
The sesame red bean balls were a wonderful dessert. so were the milk rolls!
All in all, a wonderful place to dine

The Asian server with short hair and average height seemed unsure about how to attend to customers. She did not allow us to sit at our preferred table, which affected our overall experience. We hope the staff can be guided better on handling customer preferences more courteously in the future.
We were overcharged during our visit and only realized the mistake after reviewing the receipt. When we brought it to the staff’s attention, they told us there was nothing they could do and that we had to contact head office. We did exactly that, expecting the issue to be resolved—but never received any response.
It’s incredibly frustrating to be charged more than we should have been, then completely ignored when trying to fix it. We had hoped for at least some accountability or customer service, but unfortunately, that never came. Based on this experience, we won’t be returning and can’t recommend this place to others.
