Went to celebrate a birthday this evening, unfortunately was not impressed with how the evening went. Service was extremely slow for what was not a busy night. Drinks took longer than needed to arrive, while also missing drinks when delivered. Our server also never checked in on us until after our plates were being cleared at the end of our meal. As someone who has worked in the hospitality industry I completely understand busy rushed and prioritizing certain tasks, however there are just certain aspects that make and break dining experiences!

As someone that has been going to this establishment for over 30 years, very disappointed in how a staff member treated a member of my family. Unacceptable, disgraceful and honestly, mean. The staff member should think about how they would feel if someone treated a member of their family away they treated mine.

Ordered takeout through Uber Eats. Food was delayed substantially and when it arrived, my partner’s quarter chicken was so embarrassingly small that I ended up giving him half of my own meal. Paid just under $78 for three meals. Not worth the money. Disappointed.

The service was slow are waitress never checked to make sure everything was good and to make sure we didn't need anything I asked another waitress for napkins she totally brushed us off I understand they have other tables but when you're sitting there with sticky hands it would be nice if we could get some extra napkins. I have been at other Swiss Chalet and the service I got was fantastic It's just sad to see this one is not as good

The bench seats we sat on were in terrible condition! Most of the vinyl was worn off the seating . You would think the manager would upgrade them.
Also, the french fries served with the ribs were very small, dried out and crunchy. We had to ask for a replacement. I mean considering the price of the 1/3 rack of skimpy ribs and the high price, at least they could provide a decent portion of french fries. We had to ask for a new order and they complied but still!!! Do it right the first time especially when ordering one of the most expensive dishes on their menu. Common Sense!
Linda, the waitress was very nice . No fault of hers rather the management.
We also went on Mothers Day for dinner and they were out of ribs. I tried to explain to the manager that the people who sit in should have priority over takeout, (especially on a special occasion ), which is why they ran out of the ribs early. I also pointed out to him that people who sit in generally tip more than those that takeout or order to their door. They also make the effort to drive to the establishment. He did not seem to understand or care. Not sure!
We will not be back.

Our dinner was not at all enjoyable, and the only reason we ate it was because we were really hungry. We used to proudly tell people about the great food, but it has changed. I couldn’t even describe how poor the fries were. Did you change your potatoes? It sure tastes that way.
We probably will find somewhere else to spend our money.

Okay this is the best Swiss chalet I’ve ever been to .. I’m from Toronto and none of them compare to this one ! Foods was so delicious portions were big ! We all left very satisfied !!

We had a bad experience today at this Swiss Chalet. We arrived at 8:15, an hour 45 before close. We waited over 15 minutes to be sat then waited over 15 minutes to be able to order. The restaurant was not busy at all with maybe 4 other tables when we sat down. We observed that there was only one server working (Ocean) and a manager that walked around looking lost and following around the robot. Ocean was clearly overwhelmed and had nobody to help her. Her service was amazing with the resources she had but overall this experience left a bad taste in my mouth. I will not return to Swiss Chalet any time soon, especially this location if this is how they're treating their servers.
