After hearing of Taste of Persia from my family I decided to bring my friends for lunch. It was amazing. Inside was nicely decorated and clean, the service was friendly, and the menu had a nice selection. My friend had ghormeh sabzi, it was delicious, and I had the koobideh kabob. The rice was nicely cooked and served with tomato, hot pepper, tadik, and cilantro. Would definitely go again. Im so happy to have a great persian place in barrie!

Tonight I had the pleasure of meeting the owner and she’s an amazing woman. She gave me the best tea I’ve had ever, not to mention how delicious the food is . I highly recommend this restaurant for your next date night or family dinner.

Horrible food. This is not a representation of Persian culture or food at all. They take every shortcut possible and it shows in their quality. They really need some half decent competition and they'll be out of business. Expensive for the very poor quality. Even 1 star is too much.
Nice staff & Good quality meals. The portion of the meals were less than expected. We also expected either soup or salad included by main dish similar to other restaurants but it was not ! After all , its a nice place to try traditional Persian meals

The lamb shank was barely the size of a chicken thigh, and the barg kabob was so small it wouldn’t fill up a child. One of the worst Persian meals I’ve ever had—and trust me I’ve tried plenty. How do you even mess up the rice? The 4.5 rating clearly is only because people are trying to support a local business.

DO NOT buy food from here. When they first opened, the food was VERY good. I have NO idea what happened after literally 2 months their food quality crashed. Their chicken kebab (joojeh) SMELLS really bad and their ground beef (koobideh) too. They’re using old meat. If you don’t believe me or if they reply with lies GO buy their food once and you will waste your hard earned money and I guarantee u will never return. No wonder they’re completely empty every day. I’m so sad honestly because we need PERSIAN food in Barrie but these people have NO idea what quality and integrity means. They’re FEEDING customers old meat thinking we’re not aware. I gave them a chance so many times and they’re awful with their food. NEVER AGAIN! McDonald’s is better than this. They’re giving Persian food a bad name. WHAT they are feeding customers IS NOT PERSIAN FOOD.
