So we love Irie Jerk we order there at least once a week never had any issues so always a 5 star however still 5 star for all of our previous experiences but tonight disappointed not sure if it's a new cook but sadly no flavour side gravy was very greasy n oxtail, jerk chicken n bbq chicken very little flavour ... also portions were much smaller than normal ... come on guys u r the best ... get it together!!!!

I came to this establishment last weekend with my family. We came for a late dinner. We were shopping decided to pop in. The young lady at the front came off rude. Didn't suggest anything, specials, etc. So I ignored it. I asked for festivals, I wanted 2 orders, the girl in the back said she would make the fresh.... They were stale like been sitting around all day and they were not even warm. But she was super nice I cannot bad her up as we say...... But I'd rather her say, we are out of the item then pay for something that was not satisfying. But her intentions were good!The Jerk was a large order and the portion of the chicken was small, I had no sauce on my rice and was never offered it again poor serivce. We ordereda large oxtail too, but it had too much sauce the rice was swimming in it.... However the oxtail was good!Spent about 50 dollars and I always tip and its alot considering the quality and small quantitiy for a large. I told my wife we should have went with her choice, Kelsey's and I do not like that place. But i can say they cannot mess up a burger. Anyways I won't come back.Caribbean food is not easy to make but if it's going to half quality don't serve it. Say we are out or give me a heads up. If it was 20 dollars different story.

Ordered goat roti (got chicken). Corrected but got next to no meat , the meat i did receive was in very small particles and didn't taste right and it was just mainly potatoes and peas (that's a first) lol wthell. Love my Caribbean food, I have it once a week. Never again at this place.

5+++ AMAZING JERK CHICKEN!!! Flavour was spot on and the prices were great ! As I was eating a man from the back came to ask how I enjoyed the food (amazing service to care about your customers!!) The gentleman, JJ, was the cook, and I told him I couldn't remember the last time I had jerk chicken this good or even ever! My new favorite jam and can't wait to try the oxtail. I was even offered to taste the oxtail and I said I'd wait as I know we'll be back! Ty for bringing some real Jamaican flavor to Barrie. Picture posted is 4 pieces of jerk chicken but this picture is deceiving! ❤️ after trying I bought more to take home!! I requested only meat btw so the dinner looks a bit different.I just wanted to note for those that can't eat really hot, I didnt find the jerk chicken to be spicy. It would be safe for those that can't handle the heat. Even with hot sauce you can taste the flavor !!Dietary restrictions: I only wanted meat and they offered that. They also told me what ingredients were in the food so my order was safe for restrictionsParking: Tons of parkingKid-friendliness: My kids and I sat, and there was great music and friendly conversation from the staff. Very personable staff!Wheelchair accessibility: On ground level with a very open structured space for a wheelchair/stroller and very clean restaurant

Our first order with this place, spent $80 on Skip the Dishes... order arrived and they forgot the 2 Pattie's we ordered. The Pattie's were our daughters dinner, as she doesn't eat spice. When we called, we were flatly told... sorry, there's nothing we can do... we ending up making fries for our daughter. You would think after what restaurants have been through the last 3 years, they would be a little more accommodating but not these guys... definitely a non return customer! Food is decent, portions are good for the price...customer service is absolute garbage!Staying with Happy Mango!

This place DOES NOT seem to cater too much to Jamaicans. I ordered soup and it had no yam in it. A lot of Jamaicans like yams in their soup. Only cho cho and potatoes. Seems a bit pricey for just that. Service isnt the best

Rice n peas amazing with the much needed oxtail gravy. Chicken is terrible n dry reminds me of Swisschalet. Owners are great people n don't charge for pepper sauce or oxtail gravy if you ask but the other cashiers do sadly. Overall 2/5. Music always great.
