My family had your food catered for their party. We had lasagna, chicken parmigiana, roasted potatoes, roasted veggies and Greek salad. Absolutely delicious and the presentation was beautiful. So ill start with walking in. You are it will a wall of smells that can make anyone go from standing to sitting down and forget time really fast! I went in just to get a coffee and something sweet, ended up asked if id like to sit down and relax with it, where I was met with a lovely lady named Sasha S. Who was absolutely amazing with the service how attentive she was with her service and how she was vary interactive! Well done to her!
Now let's get to my food and coffee i had. When she had asked me what I would like to drink for my coffee? I looked at her and said something strong enough with caffeine to show up on a drug test! She laughed and brought me the most amazing coffee ive ever had so fresh and full of flavor to go along with my freshly stuffed canoli! (Picture of both in photos)I was blown away and when I told her I was hungry but wanted something like she recommended a plate of bruschetta on a bag-atte(picture of in photos), now thats how you think it ends no! She brought out a beautiful work of art from a kitchen so clean and fast I was so amazed! Made me feel like I was right in Italy!
Now to talk about how this place looks inside. The seating is super comfortable amazing atmosphere with beautiful music. So much to look at all around you. But at the same time, feeling like, I just walked into a three star michelin restaurant! So upscale and class it is unbelievable! If you just want to get a little bit of Italy to go or to sit down and feel like you are home this place is it!
to summarize! 10/10! This should also be 5 stars! I challenge anyone to say or find anything bad i will prove you wrong yes every place has had a down fall or mistake but I cant find one here! Well done!

I stopped in to order a soup for lunch and from the start the experience was irritating. There was no direction on how to order or pay — I was left standing there guessing what I was supposed to do.
After waiting about 15 minutes, I was handed a bag that felt suspiciously light. When I opened it, I was honestly stunned. The soup was in a container the size of a wonton soup cup and it was only half full. Half. Full.
Charging $10 for half of a tiny container of soup is beyond ridiculous. For context, any Italian knows that $10 worth of pasta or soup can feed an entire family. What I received wouldn’t even qualify as a proper lunch for one person.
This is exactly what happens when a place starts doing well and then decides to gouge customers. Stop squeezing people for every dollar — everything is already expensive enough. Handing someone a half-filled cup of soup and calling it lunch is embarrassing, and frankly, shameful. I returned it for a refund.
The owner apologized and said they’d “show the chef the error,” but let’s be real — portion sizes and pricing come from the top. Chefs don’t make those decisions on their own.
I hate to complain, but this was a blatant rip-off. I will never step foot in this place again. I’d much rather support the surrounding businesses that don’t insult their customers with absurd pricing and laughable portions.
Save your money. Plenty of better options nearby.

I guess Nonna wasn’t working last night. Waited 1/2 hour for my takeout that was sitting on the shelf. Asked 3 times, cold by the time we got home. Reheated it was not the same. Hey, at least we got a nice log of bread lol - see picture. I realize when it’s busy stuff happens but it appears this has gone down hill. Do better guys, we need a good Italian place in Barrie

The staff were friendly, though a bit rushed since they close at 5 PM, and we felt the pressure while ordering and eating. Still, they stayed polite and attentive, and the cozy atmosphere made it a nice experience. Definitely worth going for a tasty Italian meal in Barrie, just keep the early closing in mind!

Extremely disappointing experience at the Park Place Barrie location. We attempted to order a cake twice and received no response at all. When we went to the store in person, we were simply told the register was closed, with no explanation, apology, or attempt to help. This shows a complete lack of professionalism, communication, and customer service. Definitely not a place I would recommend if you value reliability.
