My husband and I had such a great time at this country bar! The atmosphere was welcoming and laid-back, with just the right mix of energy and comfort. The music was fantastic—great selection of country hits mixed with modern dance hits to keep you moving and keep the vibe lively, and we loved how the dance floor brought everyone together. The staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. Drinks were well made however, to my standards a little over priced ($14.50 for a shot of Jager and a gulp of redbull, didnt even get to keep the redbull.) I will say the crowd was fun and easygoing. We’ll definitely be coming back—it’s the perfect spot for a night out together!

Very sketchy area of Barrie. There was human poop on the ground outside the bar. We went in for a few minutes and then left. Went to a pub down the street instead

We attended The Ranch for a Bachelorette party and the Bride had a blast. The female bartender with curly hair was amazing and helped the bride get the best experience. The age range of our group was 30-46 years old but the the ranch had majority of 19-25 year. The young adults were nice and we had no issues. Great night and we would attend again if in the area.

What a fun country bar!!!
My friends & I arrived at 8:00 p.m. for the line dancing lessons on a Saturday evening. The security at the front door kept looking at my ID then me. He eventually handed it back to me and said that they put the wrong age on my ID. How flattering! LOL!
I was told that the cover is $5 which I didn't believe because almost nothing cost that little anymore so I made sure I had more cash on hand. It's true!!!
Another amazing thing they do here is for any designated drivers, they don't charge you for the sodas, OJ and cranberry juice.
The lessons started out at intermediate level & even the line dances after the lessons I've never seen or done before so to resolve that issue, I just started requesting the ones I know and DJ Mike happily put those ones on for me.
They usually switch over to a regular club night around 11:00 p.m. however this night, he played country songs until 11:30-11:45 p.m. as he said there were a lot of line dancers tonight.
Everyone I spoke to there (bartenders, DJs, etc.) was friendly & I really enjoyed my time there.
When we left around 12:30 a.m., there was still a huge line outside although the place was already pretty busy inside.
NOTE: They only accept cash (cover & bar) so make sure you come prepared.
The Ranch 2.0 in Barrie is a decent spot for a night out with friends. The atmosphere is electric, with a mix of great country vibes and an energetic crowd. As soon as you walk in, you can feel the welcoming energy, with friendly staff who make sure you’re having a good time. The venue is spacious, offering plenty of room to dance, whether you’re a pro or just having fun.
The music is a huge highlight—live bands and DJs keep the energy high, playing a mix of country hits and party anthems that keep everyone moving. The sound system is fantastic, making every song feel like a concert experience. The lighting adds to the ambiance, creating a lively yet comfortable setting.

$10 cover was a little weird to me for what you get.
But if you're the right amount of drunk & with the right group of friends, it's a good time.
Don't expect high end decor or anything. Think more rundown raunchy country bar..
the bouncers are mostly on power trips (like anywhere) but some were nice.
The bathrooms need updating (at LEAST functional locks on the door.. I paid $10 and I can't even pee without someone swinging the stall door open???)
Someone I was with (type1 diabetic) wasn't allowed to bring in a store bought & sealed granola bar for a reason they couldn't explain. Absolutely enraging.
Racist Club, I was talking with some white girls with my friends and my friend was reported for harassment without even hearing from us. We were stereotyped. I know it’s a white club but people want different experiences in clubs. I hope they close down one day

Great night, great location
My brother went the other night and just wanted to get up and dance where the ladies were allowed and was told to get down. It was very clear that he wasn't drunk or being foolish and was only told to get down because he's a guy. You establishment shouldn't discriminate based on gender. 0 stars for that
If you like country music, dancing or just getting out with friends, this is the place to be. Recommended riding the bull or showing up early for line dancing
not too sure why the guy below me is arguing that he wasn’t allowed to bring a knife inside . this is the only place that throughly checks you and pats you down to make sure everyone is safe inside . sucks it’s cash only but the bar is great!
Stopped in at their restaurant side for some drinks and offered samples of their brisket on a bun, which was incredible. Smoked in house and hot.
Coming back soon to order the full shebang!
