The place was pretty okay. Figured it would be bigger with more to do. The fish and chips were pretty terrible, fries were good and the fish itself was as well but the batter just didn't taste nice and had a gross spongy texture.

Clean venue, very clean washroom, mostly working games. Nothing bad to say about the place itself. Had been going for several years with no issues.
However, one of the staff has recently been disrespecting me and harassing me in an online chatroom. I am now fearful and afraid to encounter this staffer again in person. So I'm not sure whether I'll ever return here. Just wanted to let management know.

Went to Rec Room as a family outing today, my kids favourite game centipede is no longer there. Unfortunately, we discovered this after we loaded our card with money. When the kids discovered centipede was gone, they just wanted to leave.
We ate lunch and our teenaged kids played in the arcade. Service was good -- our server was attentive and pleasant. Cocktails were decent. Food was mediocre or worse. I ordered a cheesecake bite that tasted freezer burnt; otherwise, the food was essentially tasteless. I don't think a single person in our large group had anything more than a lukewarm response to the food.

We had a terrible experience, staff would not help with accommodate our large group ( reservations were made in advance) our burgers were like eating briquettes. But nobody complained about anything, so we were shocked and surprised when our entire group was cut off of drinks for no reason. Citing made up safety concerns(we had a limousine so no one was driving) . When we asked the assistant manager to explain why, he could come up with no reason at all except he could cut off anyone he wanted to. Some people in our group were upset by this as they had not had more then 1 or 2 drinks nor ordered a meal. There was a fairly heated exchange then the staff made up unfounded accusations against us and kicked us out The assistant manager is souring an entire group of young employees thinking they can run a business this way. They will be un employable. It is very clear why they have to tip in advance of there service. This all took place around 8:00 ,on a Sunday evening.

I was dumb struck after being cut off after having two beers at a 50th wedding anniversary gathering that included my 85 year old grandmother in a wheel chair (I don’t think they cut her off, just me). I can’t imagine what they would do if a men’s hockey team came in, my goodness.
