Excellent service, I’m lactose intolerant and really appreciated how easy the menu was to navigate for common allergens/food preferences. Modifications were able to be made with regular mayo used rather than the brown butter mayo for the lobster roll. The patio has a nice layout, you wouldn’t know you were in the middle of a city. Celebrated my birthday here with family and friends (group of 9). They took care with every item from apps, mains, drinks and deserts. They flawlessly handled any requests and served tasty and beautiful dishes. The service is top notch and I felt very special. I had the chicken and vegetables which was delicious but would also highly recommend their new flat bread app. The pastery is just to die for! I shared the chocolate cake and it was moist and delicious and you would never know it was vegan! We have been many times and I would return in an instant!

My wife and I visited Ubran dish after my son's graduation. We were met with extreme hospitality from all staff. Our server, Merv, was absolutely wonderful and provided exceptional service. Merv was knowledgeable and funny, an overall pleasure as part of the experience. I fully recommend going to Urban dish.

Urban Dish never fails to impress. Every time we go there the food is well made. I enjoy that they use a lot of local products and fresh picked ingredients. The wait staff are professional yet friendly. We have come to this restaurant many times for date night, work holiday partys and friends night out. I highly recommend going to Urban Dish.

The service was beyond outstanding.The Lobster spaghettini is mouth watering. But the braised beef rib...nothing I have ever tasted even comes close to this.The cocktails!!!! The bourbon sour, the smoked Pineapple margarita- outstanding but the finisher- the big lebowski. It was so good that we were determined to find out how to make it.We live 1.5 hours away and we will be coming here every single time for date night.Vegetarian options: Vegan dishes including dessertsDietary restrictions: Excellent selection for gluten free, diary free, vegan and nut free

While driving through Barrie we decided to stop for lunch and left so impressed. Everything was high quality and delicious. Our server Cathy had wonderful suggestions and was so friendly / attentive. The Caesars were phenomenal, featuring a housemade mix. Also enjoyed two specials, the Mussels and Sirloin Poutine which included Brie cheese and hollandaise sauce on potatoes + the Lobster Pasta from regular menu. Excellent vegan / vegetarian options too. We will absolutely find a reason to return!

Charming cottage like venue with bustling atmosphere and fairly close but friendly quarters.Beautiful presentation of excellently cooked fresh food but portions vary with good sizing on meat dishes but less ample on fish and seafood.Thoughtful wine list,great wait staff,unusual attention to detail and first class server etiquette. My daughter and I went there for dinner and the overall experience from beginning to end was amazing, from all aspects. The setting is cozy and warm, relaxed. The service is amazing, the host and wait staff were both very friendly and welcoming, and Nora who served our table, was both amazingly helpful with the food recommendations and very personable and friendly. We ordered the roast lamb and it was one of the best we’ve had. Juicy and tender and very flavourful with the way they had arranged the mint and chili oils and chutneys. The lobster roll and scallop appetizers were also excellent.

Imagine ..... a birthday celebration, a large group, a baby in the party....and we are running late for our reservation! Was it a problem....no! The staff, including Andy who seated us and described the menu, and our server, Kate were superlative. Kate was informative, warm and patient with our table. The cocktails created by the mixologist were delicious and original...try the peach one! And commendations to the Chef and staff for a fantastic meal...presentation was impressive and the meal a complex delight. Urban Dish Grill and Wine Bar is a gem! We will return with friends and recommend that you do too.

My husband and I went to Urban Dish for our 35th Anniversary based on all the positive Trip Advisor reviews and it did not disappoint. As former restaurateurs we know how labour intensive it is to put out quality food and Jen's staff excels on quality, presentation and creativeness. Our Calamari stater was an explosion of tastes, tender calamari, sweet pineapple salsa, peppery arugula, and a spicy pepper sauce. Our mains of Rack of Lamb and Beef Short Ribs were cooked to perfection. Though we were full the desserts were enticing so we opted for the Deconstucted Lime Tart and the Bread Pudding infused with vodka cream anglais which were the ultimate finale. Our server Erica was knowledgeable and charming and watched over our table but was never intrusive, we thoroughly enjoyed her service. The Mixologist made a drink called a Paloma and boy was it smooth I look forward to trying others made by him. This was by far one of the best meals that we have had and we look forward to many more.
