Great place, love the atmosphere. Good service from servers like Tanya who give the place an upbeat, friendly environment. Go a couple times and you’ll realize why they have a large amount of regulars. Great beer selection too.

My encounter with the server Hannah has completely overruled every experience. This girl went out of her way to make our experience the best time. Wickies needs her.

One thing I can say about this location is the food is good. It does take sometime for it to come to the table but its worth the wait. Service was also great, very attentive and was so helpful.

Came here for dinner before heading to the back room for a Euchre tourney. Great staff, great food, clean restroom and the food is amazing. Fair warning, if you want fish and chips, bring an appetite. I can warn you but your eyes are still going to widen when they set your plate in front of you.
Tip your server generously, they deserve it.

After a dissapointing 7th game blue jays loss , there is no one who can raise your spirits more than our server Tanya .

Super welcoming , explained menu greatly in detail and suggested that days special .

Quick and prompt service on all angles .

Wickie’s is always a treat when you get to go! The food is amazing, I’d suggest the Healthy Haddock! Our server Tanya was absolutely amazing, making us feel safe, happy, and Appreciated! If you’re ever lucky enough to have her as your server, you can’t miss her infectious smile and the greatest attitude you’ve ever seen!

We had such a great experience at Wickies, thanks to Tanya! She was our server and bartender, and honestly, she made the whole visit unforgettable. Tanya is one of those rare people who radiates positivity - always smiling, upbeat, and genuinely happy to be there. She was super quick with our orders, checked in at just the right times, and made us feel completely at home, like part of the family. You can tell she loves what she does, and it shows in every interaction. If you’re visiting Wickies, definitely ask for Tanya - she’s the best!

Hannah is a very disrespectful person. Asked why we were charged for pops without being told about it, she said we can't give away free pops. Refills are free basically anywhere you go!!! Wish I could give this place a zero star, had to pay for every refill without being told about it. That is such a money grab. Would have been nice to know about it before ordering. If you want much better service, free refills and better food, I would recommend lockeroom. Lockeroom food is better and cheaper with bigger portions. Never go here!

Hands down my Fav landing spot since 1995. The faces have changed over the years but we can always count on Tanya to win the evening with timely drinks and nibbles. I feel like Norm at Cheers when I walk in and Tanya is there to greet with an ear to ear grin and big laughs! Quality spot and great peeps like Tanya keep us coming back. 🍗 🍺 🏈 🏒 ⚾️

Overall I like Wickies but it's impossible to get good French fries! The picture is 80% of the kind of fries I got, little nubs. No restaurant should be charging let alone serving fries like this.

What a huge disappointment and no wonder why Wickie’s a staple of Barrie is now a complete dive. The only good thing they offer is beer, wine and Shirley temples. $12 wings were overcooked but the most okay thing on the menu. Burger completely tasteless. Liver and Onions was overcooked. Fish was overcooked and dry. Beef Dip way over cooked. We were excited to order the onion blossom as years ago it was the most on demand thing on the menu! But we should have known after trying that and it being awfully overcooked what kind of meal we were in for…definitely will never be back here for food/to eat again. Too bad horrible food ruined Grandma’s 93rd Birthday lunch. I feel so badly for front of house staff who can’t control the food coming from the kitchen and in turn have an empty restaurant with people waiting over an hour for main dishes that are disappointing and overcooked. We won’t be back.

We must have come at a bad time.
I picked my partner up at GO station at 4:30 pm and we were hungry and decided to get a quick bite to eat before a late dinner.
We were extremely disapointed with the service, food, and price.
My partner ordered a Philly cheese sandwich and salad as a side.
I ordered shrimp and calamari appetizer.
The philly was $20.+ dollars and the shrimp and calamari was $20.+.
The Philly was small enough to put in your shirt pocket and was tastless. It lack Philly
The shrimp was 3 dry overcooked and was desert dried boot leather. Salad was not food you'd feed to a guinea pig at a shelter.
Adding insult to injury we were left alone for some time. To a point where I had to get up and find a waitress for our bill.
Ceasar was OK and water was cold.
As a former waitress I would NEVER accept that food to bring to my table.

We went to the Grove St location for our anniversary dinner. What a disappointment! Of the 4,white wines on the menu, they only had one available. When our meals were served they were lukewarm at best. I only had a few bites of mine. The waitress kindly did not charge us for the meals and apologized but our evening was not as enjoyable as we had hoped. We won’t be back
