This is THE Cafe for the south barrie area, we all come here to chat, study, relax, and enjoy some delicious food and drinks.
Service is excellent if you don't have unrealistic expectations of others.

This wasn't the same as it used to be, unfortunately. There was very little variety of prepared desserts. I also felt it could use a refresh as it's looking a little dingy. On the other hand, the staff person who helped me was great, and the iced vanilla Chai latte with cinnamon did not disappoint.

We came to the Barrie Byrne Williams for Mother’s Day, hoping for a nice, relaxed family outing—but it ended up being a disappointing experience. There was only one booth available and it hadn’t been cleared yet, so we sat down and started moving the dishes to the next table. Then we suddenly heard a sharp “Leave it” and looked up to see a waitress staring at us with a stern expression and cold tone. It completely killed the mood.
Later on, we overheard her loudly complaining to another customer—which felt so unprofessional. Usually it’s the customer with the complaint, not the staff. Thankfully, the server who actually brought us our food was kind and pleasant, but the first impression stuck with us and it’s all we could talk about during the visit.
I understand that being a server isn’t easy, but tone and body language matter a lot. When you’re in a customer-facing role, the way you carry yourself can really impact someone’s day. Hopefully management hires and trains the staffs to be kind and friendly to everyone🙏❤️ 🇨🇦

Great place to meet friends over a coffee or light breakfast or lunch. Staff is friendly and quick to take your order. Great seating for 2 or 22.

Not a great recent experience. We order multiple $50+ orders a week. Last order we tried to get a buy one get one deal. We made a mistake placing the order but contacted the restaurant immediately after placing the order. Was told there was nothing that could be done and they couldn't honor the deal. Great way to lose an consistent customer.

Absolute gem in Barrie. Their vibe is so nice. It’s hard explain how lovely it is here. The food is SPECTACULAR. Super fresh and delicious and full of flavour. Their menu is loaded with delicious quality foods inclusive to everyone. Taste is beyond amazing. Their service is lovely and warm. It’s just a lovely place to be and I’m so happy my friend recommend it!! I HIGHLY suggest Williams Cafe to anyone. If you’re looking a place with great food, good people and relaxing vibes on a nice summer day. Go to Williams Cafe!!!

Best chai tea latte we’ve ever had of all coffee shops, and their warm apple cider is really tasty. Atmosphere of the restaurant is very calm and peaceful. Lived in Barrie for a couple years now and sad we didn’t try this place sooner!!!

Williams is by far my favourite coffee spot in Barrie. I am never, NEVER disappointed. My coffee, lattes and cappuccinos are always made exactly to my liking. The food is always fresh and perfectly prepared. The atmosphere in the cafe makes you feel like you’re in a sit com and you’re the main character regardless of if you’re at a booth, table, or the couches at the front. I get excited to go here. I just can’t wait for my huge latte, my turkey blt and a pickle!!!
