Do NOT get the nachos. They aren’t worth the price. My husband and I got an order of their $18 nachos with chicken for an extra $4 and it was the most dried out chicken I’ve ever tried. There was absolutely no flavour. It was absolutely the worst nachos we’ve ever had. Our waitress had no idea how to serve food or drinks properly. She was seriously not all there.. worst food I’ve ever had. The atmosphere was decent, the food was awful and the service was terrible.

KJ is an awesome cook and always makes my stuff just how I want it.However the 1 main bartender is very rude and unprofessional to costumers. She has even called customers crack heads and more.Friday night karaoke with Bent River is very fun and friendly. The host works hard to get songs for all that want to sing. She is fair and very professional.

We sat at our table for 25 minutes… At that point I went and looked around for an employee… found a few talking at the bar… I stated that we have been here for 25 minutes and would like to order… The waitress finally came to the table 15 minutes later with no menus and wanted to know what we wanted!!! I got up and to get the menus for our table… We ordered our drinks & food. It then took 30 minutes for my drink to come…..however was not what I ordered! Another 10 minutes for the next persons drink, and another 15 minutes for the next persons drink… (we are all at the same table)…It took 2 hours for the water & the food to come to our table… Our friends table behind us never got the water they asked for…Each time the waitress came to our table she kept trying to take my wine glass away even though I still had a half a glass left. She could only carry one item at a time…. So more wait them. Our table asked for salt & pepper with their meal…and was never brought to the table. We had to go to the bar and ask for it… Ketchup was never brought to the table when the fries was ordered….When asked for the bill… It took 30 minutes to get the bill….There was only 20 people in the restaurant all night and 4 employees… The worst service and wait times ever!!!!!

I went to Sharon House for a Karaoke event last week! They were accommodating for over 20 people with long bar type tables pushed together!There are also multiple booths, a beautiful long bar and ample space to dance.This would be a good location to see a band because there is nothing to block your view.The karaoke was good, the system was good except the large speakers should go more forward from the singer so they can hear themselves sing instead of the loudness of their voice from the speakers.Also the display and words should be on one of the screens more central in the bar as well as the ones where the singer is, so people can read the lyrics, and know when they are up next. The font was confusing for most of us to see and understand..unfortunately the staff did what they could but having a dedicated waitress would have helped.Location is by Minet point in Barrie so it’s not downtown , but it’s a place I will come back to!One person ordered meal which was huge portions and looked delicious. Basically an older crowd. Many heavy drinkers. The locals in the neighborhood are way over served. Seen an old lady leave jump in her vehicle almost ran into mine. This place needs to be monitored by the police. It’s just a matter of time until someone hurts or kills someone when leaving this alcoholic den.Parking: Be very careful when leaving
