Zehrs has pretty much what you are looking for and when it comes to price yes it's a little expensive but that's every way and Zehrs is a clean shop so all I have to say is thank you for a clean environment
The best health team ever. Sarah is the most caring and pleasant human. Always knows what to say ! Let’s face it going to get a prescription is always a concern, but there care and professionalism is wonderful.
Dylanha was amazing at helping me out with my purchases today. The employees I have interacted with here are all very pleasant and super helpful! I always have a nice time coming in here to get my snacks and drinks, and they have an amazing selection!
Always fresh always good Duckworth Zehrs is one of the best grocers in Barrie
This is our preferred store to purchase our groceries but it seems every time we come there’s not enough cashiers. It’s a Saturday morning of the May 24 long weekend and the lineups were crazy so we went through self check out where we encountered a belligerent young girl working the area. We needed her bypass for alcohol we were purchasing. When we asked why they never have enough cashiers … she told us to shop somewhere else. She said there was nothing they could do which is far from the truth. She then became agitated and aggressive. I would hope she is spoken to and gets a lesson in customer service. This was deplorable and very disrespectful.
Lovely staff. Always willing to help
Best Zehrs in Barrie so far I have seen.
Still a Zehrs though but let's see...
Taylor from the Bakery was Awesome with helping me get a Black Forest cake for my Birthday. It’s the only cake I truly enjoy and he made it possible. Thank you.
Very clean and big. They carry almost everything you could need
Please smartserve certify your staff. It's a quick, cheap online program that everyone passes. Esp on the self scan lane, or put the young ones on a lane clearly marked not a beer lane.

Not fan of any part of that store.
Great place to shop. Lots of fresh veggies & fruit.
I shop here because it's convenient, but I will be going out of my way to not come back here from now on.
Multiple times I have purchased meat, brought it home and had it rotten within a day. Before the expiration date, which sometimes isn't even printed on the package. (I usually won't buy it without a date but sometimes I have missed it) I had pulled some meat to defrost before work today, when I arrived home I found it rotten in the fridge (not even fully defrosted and I froze it the day we bought it). Upset I returned to the store to replace it as I was in the midst of preparing dinner, I ran in to buy a replacement. In my haste I forgot to check expiration dates, I'm using it tonight so it shouldn't be a big deal.....until I get home, open the packaging and a rancid smell hits my nose. So I have to return AGAIN, to have it refunded. Ironically prior to leaving earlier I stopped at customer service to inquire on return/exchange policy on meats. (I informed the attendant that over the years multiple things have been rotten/expired but I always assumed they were final sale.)
There have also been multiple occasions over the last couple years where I've found meat in the display that has passed its best buy date. Which was the case tonight when I went in for that exchange, apparently the entire large volume of meat being displayed was ALL passed their best buy date.
We found the store very clean and well organized. Staff on floor was helpful. We found a couple of things we had been unable to find elsewhere. Our store experience was good until we got to the cash. My husband was wearing a mask. The cashier, Sandra, asked if he wasn’t feeling well. He answer that he was fine, I explained that he had very low immunity. She then said each to their own. I felt obligated to explain that our daughter was an Emerg nurse and had advised us that there was a lot of Covid and other germs in area. Sandra at that point said that medical field can tell you whatever they want. I restated that our daughter had seen patients coming through Emerg with these diseases, at this point she stated that they can tell you anything they want. I quit talking to her then, paid for our almost $250.00 worth of groceries. I felt completely overwhelmed by how your employee was shoving her beliefs at us. We had not asked her to put on a mask, we just wanted to pay for our groceries and go home. My husband has RA and his medications lower his immune system as well as he was just diagnosed with lung cancer and was waiting for his treatment plan. He can’t afford to get sick at this time. I was almost in tears leaving your store.
Your employee was very disrespectful of our rights and with that attitude should not be allowed to work with your clients.
Plenty of stock, clean but need more cashiers on till.
