Incredible barbecue. I've been to some of the best barbecue places in Austin and this is easily on the same level. The brisket and ribs are incredible, but last time I just tried the jalapeno cheddar sausage and it was absolutely incredible, bursting with cheese. The potato salad is great as are their rotating featured salads. Bit pricey for a filling meal but the quality is worth every penny. Absolutely delicious. I find some southern bbq places can be very greasy or drown the meat in aggressive sauce but everything we had here was perfect. The pork belly bites were unreal and the sour cream based dip they came with was the perfect compliment. The potato salad and sausage were also amazing. Big ups for complex flavours.
Old Style Barbeque is a hidden gem with a sneaky parking area and a surprisingly large space. Visitors can enjoy live music, brewery settings, and lawn games in a peaceful environment. The food is consistently delicious, featuring exceptional pork belly bites with a sour cream-based dip, meaty ribs with great bark, and amazing potato salad and sausage. While the sauce portions for the ribs could be larger, the complex flavors and perfect cook make each visit worthwhile.
