I love this place—it rarely disappoints, whether indoors or outdoors. Bayfield itself is a fantastic spot, and the Black Dog within it just elevates the whole experience. The menu is decent, the drink selection is outstanding, and the vibe is unmatched.

One of the best fish and chips that we've had. Crispy light batter, moist fish with a dilly tartar sauce (good on fries too) and wonderful fries. Will be getting it again the next time we are in Banfield.

Pleasantly surprised as we all 3 of us ordered the Thanksgiving Special. We were not expecting a tasty oven roasted turkey open an open the bread topped with garlic mashed potatoes with gravy and crispy stuffing. Great meal, awesome service. Beautify fall day on their patio, highly recommend a visit when you're in Bayfield

This restaurant is a gem within Bayfield! The food was top notch, the service impeccable and the atmosphere terrific in this quaint colonial building. Have been there at least three times now and will hopefully definitely go back!

We loved our evening here. I ordered the gnocchi in a Gorgonzola sauce. Very good. Also enjoyed the drink of the day, a bourbon mule. Asked half the maple syrup and it was perfect!
As a side point, my husband said it was the best burger he has EVER had.
