Lake of Bays Brewing Company

Came in near the end of the day. About 8 minutes to closing. I was on my way to a camping spot and wanted to grab some cold beers for a friends bday. They just restocked so all the cans at the front were warm. When i mentioned it and tried to grab the back cans the employees were rude, told me to grab from the front and hurry. This happened a while back but after I had a crap experience with my mom and gf at barrel house in bracebridge ive decided to write this review also.

I live not too far from the brewery (40min drive) I have visited several times and enjoy buying their beer wherever I can. Recently I had picked up some cans of Dammit from the LCBO and loved it. Decided to order a case of it direct from the brewery. Unfortunately the cans taste nothing like the beer I purchased from the LCBO and has a very strong plastic taste (Phenolic off flavor). I reached out to the brewery as I have done with other breweries if there is ever an issue with the beer I have ordered. They asked me for pictures of the dates in the cans which I sent. Since then I have heard nothing back from them unless I email and they say they will get back to me. It has now been almost a month and a half and unlike other breweries who immediately offer to replace the product, they have done nothing. I have a case of cans nobody will drink sitting here waiting for a brewery that does not seem to care about the quality of their product or if their customer is happy with their product and enjoying it. Needless to say this was not the experience I expected ordering from a smaller craft brewery but it likely will be the last time I purchase Lake of Bays products.

This is my favorite brewery. The selection is amazing. Dammit is my new favourite go-to. However the selection of 2.5% IPA 's is wonderful. We live too far for a visit until the good weather comes, but we are really looking forward to it.

James was amazing and super helpful! A must stop at location in Muskoka!!!! Come in for a flight, stay for the hospitality!

Popped in to try the place out - beer was fantastic, and James who was our host was so enjoyable to spend time with. Definitely recommend!

James was an amazing host, explaining the different beers on tap, chatting about everything and curating a great vibe for us as we kicked off a northern weekend! On the beer front, the lactose sour was super enjoyable.

Another Ontario brewery off my my bucket list. They have their regular selection (of course) in addition to their sessions. It is cottage country so the brewery fits in with the local vibe nicely.

Says open till 6. I'm here 540. Beautiful sunny evening. Closed.

Delicious food! The brisket as a sandwich, on a burger or as Yorkie sliders just melts in your mouth. Get the fries, they're made to hold the housemade(?) ketchup!

The manager James was so accommodating and kind. He allowed us to move chairs to make our group comfortable. Would 100 percent recommend this place for any cottager. Such a good time!!!

It was a good place for a flight. Unfortunately it was raining so did not stay long. Large variety of beverages to choose from.
