What a gem. Wines were not overshadowed by the beautiful interior and location. Tamara served us as she was wonderful. Will be back for the wines first, and then everything else was just a pleasant extra.
Amazing wines
We came to Le Clos Jordane last week for a “Terroir to Table” tasting and presentation. We were lucky enough to be hosted by Tamara, who is so sweet, knowledgeable and who gave us a really interesting presentation. This visit was certainly the highlight of our Niagara wine tour. We left with several excellent bottles. Looking forward to being able to order their products from Québec. Thank you very much and we hope to visit you again soon :)
The gorgeous architecture and views here are worth a visit alone! They have a tightly curated selection of wines, known for Pinot and Chardonnay. Worth a visit if those are of your liking!
Beautiful winery! They close at 6pm which was a big plus because many wineries in the region close at 5pm. Very nice indoor and outdoor seating to enjoy the wine tasting. Staffs are very friendly and she gave us a free sampling of the wine that we bought. Highly recommended!
We loved our experience. Jacob was welcoming and deeply knowledgeable about the wines: the Chardonnay he recommended was great. The cheese board was unique and everything was delicious...cheeses at the right temperature, gougères freshly baked. Add the unbeatable view and it was a lovely, serendipitous experience for us! Thank you everyone at Domaine Le Clos Jordanne, we will be back.
Le Clos Jordanne was recommended by a sommelier friend and quickly became one of my favourite stops during a trip that included visits to 13 vineyards in the region. The wine was fantastic (the Claystone Terrace Chardonnay was a stand out for me); the service warm and attentive; and the setting was both serene and beautifully designed — from the lovely patio space to the modern interior. I’d highly recommend it to any wine lover visiting the area.
I have very mixed feelings about Domaine Le Clos Jordanne.
First, the wine was absolutely amazing. We enjoyed every sample throughout our tasting- even if they were a bit on the small side, given the cost.
We paired our tasting with the Burgundian inspired platter- which did not disappoint at all. It was a lovely snack of cheeses, courgettes, crackers, open faced sandwich and an incredible little spiced cake that is to die for! Highly recommend adding this to your tasting!
The location was beautiful- an incredible building, incredible view and comfortable atmosphere.
The manager was lovely and did her best to accommodate a request we made- which was appreciated.
We left with a case of wine we look forward to enjoying.
However, the tasting itself fell a little flat. Our guide was a lovely woman who seemed nervous and a little inexperienced. Although I understand everyone has to start somewhere- I thought she should have been paired up with a more experienced guide.
We were a group of four- one of whom was our designated driver who wasn't participating in the tasting. The DD was offered a glass of their non-alcoholic wine (which was fantastic!) but she was then charged $20 for it. We were explained it was $10 for the wine, and $10 for the guide's time/presentation. I think this should have been clarified in advance and I also think a DD shouldn't be charged for the presentation.
In short, I'll absolutely purchase their wine again. I may even come back to enjoy the Burgundian platter. But not sure I see the value in the tasting. Would rather just order a bottle or two and enjoy them with the view.
We came here on a Monday for the terrior flights. Two couples, we had one PN and one chard flight each, sharing between us.
First, the building and tasting rooms are stunning, beautiful ambiance.
The wines, in Burgundian fashion, are elegant and refined. The expression of terrior was great, and the grand Clos was an amazing wine. Actually one of the better PNs I've had in Ontario.
Downside, the atmosphere was a touch pretentious, and the pricing on the tasting was a touch high for value received. I felt like I was definitely paying for the building more than the wine, at 40/head for three pours.. while they are styled after burgundy, they are not burgundy.
The wine itself is reasonable cost for value.
Drop the flight to 30/head and it would be reasonable, but can't recommend at current price.
Jacob was great

This is the most lovely place in an incredibly beautiful setting and we came here with a group and we all loved the experience!
Wonderful wines and the group fav was the Grand Clos. Jake B was knowledgeable and attentive!
Was an awesome experience being hosted by Pamela , very informative and passionate about the wines and the winery. Was nice to be educated on the history of the property and the wine maker Thomas.
Pamela was a gracious host who spent alot of time sharing information about the winery, herself, and the area in general. We had alot to relate to as we grew up in the same area. Thank you for a lovely wine tasting experience.

We came across Le Clos Jordanne after having their wine over 10 years ago at Jackson Trigs. They now have their own location and it’s a beautiful building. We had a tasting with Pamela who was an amazing host. She helped us appreciate the wine and educated us on the nuances of their wines. The bench is a great place to visit and this winery is a must visit.
Amazing experience from the view, atmosphere, and the service. Very knowledgeable, we were helped with Pamela and she was fantastic and informative. Highly recommend, this whole area is a hidden gem!
