We were just looking for a place to eat and dropped in to the Coastal Kitchen. We are glad we did! It was soooo good. We had the breaded shrimp happy hour appetizer which was beyond any breaded shrimp I’ve ever had. I don’t even know how the chef made it but the first bite was divine. I had the shrimp cobb salad as my main and my husband had the taco salad. The freshest ingredients and beautifully presented! Our server Christina added to the experience with her upbeat personality and knowledge of each dish. You can tell she loved working there. I always love to return to places where the employees are happy, it means they are treated well. The atmosphere is cozy with touches of whimsy here and there. We will return to this hidden gem of a restaurant. We can hardly wait to have the shrimp again and try new entrees

My wife and I finally decided to check this place out after seeing it all over social media, and overall, it lived up to the hype.

We kicked things off with drinks: I went for the Frosé, which was refreshing and not overly sweet, while my wife had the Limoncello Spritz, a crisp and zesty pick that paired well with the summer heat.

To start, we shared the Mushrooms Neptune. For the main course, we split the 14oz flame-grilled ribeye and doubled down on snow crab legs. The ribeye was grilled perfectly: tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The snow crab legs, unfortunately, were a bit of a letdown, arriving slightly overcooked and on the dry side.

The biggest downside of the evening was the persistent swarm of flies around our patio table, which was distracting during the meal. That said, the outdoor space has ample parking behind the patio, and the waitstaff was excellent, attentive and quick to keep our table clean and clear between courses.

Despite the few hiccups, we’ll definitely be back. There’s still more on the menu we’d love to try. Hopefully next time, there will be fewer uninvited guests !

Had the chicken and waffles, to much going on, you just need a simple solid chicken base, chicken was overly done, this one was double dipped in something and hard breaded, the waffles was to hard, thick and sugary, you need a light fluffy waffle for it to work.

Great spot. The food is excellent. And the service fantastic. Loved the atmosphere. When we were there there was a guy playing guitar and singing. He was just the right volume and very good. It was a delightful experience. We'll be back.

Well prepared fish. I had crab cakes that have amazing flavor with a large lemon, gently-blackened and added some fries in a cone shaped iron servicing apparatus. My bride had pickerel, well flavored with sweet potato fries.
Quick service, reasonable prices and nice atmosphere with clean washrooms, nice patio and parking.
Highly recommended.
My only knock is the jackson triggs wine. I am not a fan but some are so that is purely personal,in choice.

Randomly found Costal Kitchen when randomly scrolling around Google Maps. The storefront is unassuming, but it is a magnificent restaurant. Our server was very kind (young lady who told another table about winning tickets to a concert, sorry I forget your name) was very pleasant and friendly. She was good to get our order in before a big party came in. We sat on the patio, which is nicely kept and decorated. The wall graffiti is stunning and captures the Southern vibes they achieve well. We ordered mussels, shrimp, tacos and jambalaya, all made perfectly. The drinks were good too. All in all a great time. I imagine when there is live music on, the place is electric. We will be back!

Great seafood restaurant. Cozy with a good atmosphere. It is a bit dark in there but it adds to the ambiance. They have an indoor/outdoor patio for when the weather is nice, which is helpful if it's hot but it's raining. The food is delicious and they offer good portions. The price is on par with the quality and amount of food. They have a very large cocktail/drink list and the ones I've tried are delish. It does get very busy there so reservations are recommended.

Vegetarian options: Limited options

Parking: Located behind the restaurant but there is a back entrance. Parking is closest to their patio.
