It was hard to give my experience a rating. I stopped in last week to grab something quick because both my husband and I were craving shawarma,and Yalla was closed. I got the beef on rice and my husband asked me to get him the chicken shawarma poutine.
As the man there was getting the meat hot and ready I used the bathroom and oh boy, disgusting ? urine on the seat. Dried urine around the base of the toilet that clearly hadn't been cleaned in a while ? it was a real turn-off.
As for the food the man was shocked he was about to close my container after putting the meat and sauce on the rice and I was like oh can I get some onions and cucumber and pickles on that?? Anywhere else I've ever gone they ask you for toppings... Same with the poutine I had to ask for extra onions on top.
It was okay but not amazing. I had some gristly bits in my meat but the flavor was good. My husband said he enjoyed his meal though we both agreed we preferred the other place in Beamsville.
