First time visiting the pub. Sat on the patio on a Saturday evening for dinner so there was very little traffic in the lot. Food was very good, better than most pubs/watering holes. Service was also very good. Will recommend and visit again.

First time here today and everything was incredible. I got the Butcher Burger, my girlfriend got a poutine and we shared a spinach dip. I couldn’t get over how amazing the food was. Definitely will be a regular spot for me going forward!

The service and atmosphere were good however the food was exceptional. The chili nachos are a good sharing plate for 2 or 3. They were crisp with lots of chili, cheese and fresh toppings. But the best thing ever is the sticky toffee pudding...out of this world. Can't wait to go back again.

BEAT NACHOS I’VE EVER HAD!!
I now understand why everyone says this is the best pub in town cause WOW. Came for fathers day and we were all full (family of 4) from the nachos! Our mains didn't even come out yet. And those didn't disappoint either!

Amazing food, amazing value and portion sizes, great atmosphere and very kind and friendly staff. Will ABSOLUTELY be going back and recommend the nachos!!

Spoke to a person today by the name of Betty. At first she greeted me nicely then all of a sudden she said she couldn't hear me a few times then a fax sound came on through the line. I hung up and called back and then I addressed her to make sure it was the same person Betty i was speaking with. I mentioned I heard a fax sound, She denied of any type of sound was interrupting the call. But she came off very frank and rude right after as if I was bothering her.
I find this call to be very disturbing as an Uber driver in the area ppl always ask for a good place to eat and I always recommend this place but this call put a sour taste in my mouth. I definitely would be hesitant to recommend this restaurant if this is the type of customer service professionalism someone would receive after talking to someone on the phone for information.

When traveling, it's difficult to know the good from the bad. So we read reviews, ask for the best in the area, and check out the menus. Sometimes it works, but this time, it didn't.
My husband ordered the fish and chips. It looked great, but he said it had no taste no matter how much vinegar he used. Then the fries... when they come to the table, they are hot and crispy. But as soon as they cool off ... yuck. Not good. I had the beef dip sandwich. Too salty. The meat itself was dry and too salty. The cheese was overpowering, but the horseradish mayo was great. Again, the same for the fries.
The beer was good? Sure
Would we go back? Definitely not.

Stopped in to get a take out fish n chips.Had a guiness while waiting.Nice pub good fish however I asked when ordering if lemon coleslaw and tartar sauce was included.I was asshured it was however upon arriving at home all that was in the bag was a piece of fish which was nice and fries.Bitterly dissapointed with the lack of attention to a basic order.
