Shortis is a very cozy place my wife and I go to on a very very regular basis. The drinks were always made very well... Until recently. Lots of new staff in recent months so the consistency of the drinks have been subpar. Two different staff members on two different occasions in past three days have messed up our drinks. Not something I'd typically complain about but when I'm paying 20$ for two drinks and they're not drinkable, it's frustrating. Seems to be happening on a more regular basis. I did go back the following day with the drinks still in my hand to ask for a replacement (didn't have time to wait again when originally ordered as had to go hospital for appointment). Haley was quick to apologize and remake the drink to perfection.Think the owner needs to make sure recipes for drinks are written down so that each drink maintains consistency?Think these shortfalls fall on management and not just the baristas.. Every staff member has been very friendly and welcoming. Just lots of new faces on a regular basis... Could tempt to pose further questions of why?I'll be more then happy to update and change my review back to a 5 when things seem to improve.

This is just the CUTEST little Cafe! The food is so delicious. We're a little group of moms and babies that come once in a while to treat ourselves. Kitt is by far one of the best baristas that we've encountered. She makes sure everyone is happy and is so polite towards all. My 18 month old daughter absolutely ADORES her! Keep up the great work, we'll be back again and again ❤️

I popped in here on the weekend and received a smile from both ladies working, as well as the best green tea matcha latte ever. They recommended adding honey for sweetness which I haven’t tried, and it was perfect. The carrot cake loaf was delicious as well! ?

Visited the shortiss for the first time after the Santa Claus parade, and was delighted by the cosy atmosphere and friendly staff. The perfect little café for downtown Beavertin. My vanilla chai latte was a warm cup of perfection. I will definitely be back.

We found this lovely cafe in the heart of downtown Beaverton after a hike nearby. My husband enjoyed a delicious drip coffee and I loved the matcha latte with honey (not too sweet, just perfect). He had the breakfast sandwich and I had the turkey sandwich. Both very good! But a cafe that will make my order fresh with gluten-free bread (and great bread too)?? I'm in heaven. And extra pesto next time would be ultimate perfection ;) Thanks so much! Staff were friendly. Highly recommend a visit here!
