Birdy's Fine Casual Dining

Disappointed in the customer service, ultimately walked away and angry. This is our favourite breakfast place… or was. Sadly came to have breakfast here for my mom’s birthday today and greeted with a miserable waitress who barely acknowledged us. Continued to ignore us as she entered receipts into a debit machine. Waited for 5 minutes until another person came to us after we said something. The then miserable waitress told us breakfast was done without looking at us or cracking a smile. Not sure why it says served until noon when apparently it’s not. Nice way to start my mom’s birthday. Your staff need to work on their customer service - being greeted with a friendly hello is the least you could offer.

We treated friends to a dinner and a drink. Two of the beers on tap were out, the 3rd, once poured, was sooo skunky and should never have been served. The spicy chicken farfalle, made my partner violently ill, full-on heaving all night. It was embarrassing to host friends and have it be so disappointing. The service was decent but what came out of that bar and kitchen ought to be criminal... we liked Birdy's for brunch, but we won't be going back.

Upon arrival with a reservation did not seem happy to see us finally got our ready Slowest service and most unfriendly waitress took 15 minutes to take order another 25 minutes to get drinks another 30 minutes for breakfast to arrive poached eggs hard boiled no toast arrived had to ask twice for toast finally went to kitchen and got the toast restaurant was not very busy it was like they did not want us there I asked if the regular chef was cooking was told yes also mentioned hard boiled poached eggs waitress said they must have left then too long in hot water and yes they should be Sofie and runny no apology or anything offered to correct
Company from out of the country we were embarrassed as we said it was going to be very good never again will we go there

We were supposed to be a party of 4, but due to not being handicapped friendly 2 of our party left. The food was not seasoned at all leaving everything bland and lacking. The washroom was out of a horror movie. Dark and dingy with massive cobwebs. I understand they have a patio and staff would have to go in and out of the heat so I understand wearing a tank top. But one of the waitresses had a shirt with no straps and her bra hanging out the back. Not casual fine dining attire. Maybe change the name to Birdie's road house. The only redeeming thing from this visit was the waitress that served me. She was super friendly and quick with drink refills, was dressed casually in black pants and black tank (that had 100% coverage). She seemed genuinely distressed that we did not enjoy the meal.

Went for dinner on a Monday night at 6pm. Pretty quiet in the restaurant which is what we wanted. We had the salmon, the gnocchi bolognese and the lamb osso bucco. All the food was well done. Service was friendly and attentive. Prices quite reasonable. Will definitely be back. Restaurant is also open for breakfast and lunch. I've driven by at lunchtime and the parking lot was packed!

I had their Classic Burger and my wife had a Vegie burger. Both were very good.

Although the reviews are mixed , I have to relate my experience on a recent visit... this was a special celebration! Pre-dinner arrangements were requested & made. Every detail was taken care of from the champagne , to the cake , to the table dressing...
The food was excellent & the service top notch..Oscar didn't miss a beat...Our evening was perfect.... (2 Anniversary couples )

This restaurant is a hidden gem in Belleville. The atmosphere is casual and relaxing. The staff are friendly but not overbearing. The food is quality and full of flavour and the prices are fair as well. This will be one of our go to spots.

We absolutely love Birdys! Been here likely about 20 times or so.

The prime rib Benedict, the coffee, the burger, the holladaise, the home fries, the caesers, the pancakes, the steak Sando, breakfast skillet and so much more! Amazing menu with locally sourced food and ingredients. Really nice staff and just an over all great spot and experience everytime I come.

It’s more or less my favourite spot to eat in Belleville. Don’t skip out 🫡🫡🫡 get there today!

First timers here at the birdy’s. A group of 3 for a meeting lunch. Shelorna our waiter was amazing. Food was excellent, I had a grilled vegetable sandwich with salad and is one of the best I had in a long time!
Please try the MIMOSAS!! Freshly squeezed OJ. You won’t be disappointed 😊😋

We just left Birdies. My meal ( beet salad with shrimp) excellent. My husband ordered veggie burger. It was disappointing as it had no condiments on it, very bland. Service was lovely and just the right amount of interaction. The music was awful. It was some kind of classical meets jazz in a really bad way. Irritating and mood busting. Beer selection was great. We will definitely go back… but will sit outside so as to avoid the “ambiance”.
