“I’ve been here a few times, each time I walk out with a smile on my face ! I absolutely adore the potato and leak Bolani, it has become my comfort food. I’m vegetarian, so it’s difficult to find feel good food in town, thankfully I’ve found the best spot! The service is amazing, everyone is so kind and wholesome, and the prices are almost too good. “Meyers Creek is a great brewery. They have a beer for everyone (multiple favourites for me). Dark, light, in-between, sours, experimental. The staff is great and the space is cozy. They have some light food options and have a food truck on-site often. It's where we go whenever we want a chill drink. It's definitely worth multiple visits.”

“I'm sitting here in my car letting the nerves from an interview I just had wear off.The gentleman who I'm presuming is the owner is here keeping busy cleaning the windows and ever single person who walks by he says hello or has a brief conversation with. Some he knows by name, others maybe not. I had a peak inside and it looks absolutely lovely!I'm new to town and haven't had the chance to venture to downtown just yet other then for this interview. “Had dinner there tonight for the first time. Everything was perfect and the view of the river was an added bonus. Best burgers we’ve ever had and we love our gourmet burgers. The Local salad is superb and you can tell the chef(s) put their hearts into preparing their dishes. The vibe and the staff are so great and helped make a snowy evening perfect for us. Our server had reddish hair and I wish I’d asked her name as she was lovely. Everyone there was cheerful and welcoming. We will be back for sure. Thank you!!”

“I was at Small Scale Bread this morning and it was a wonderful experience. The bread looked amazing and the Orange Cardamom Morning Bun was delicious and I even got to buy some flowers from the Dahlia May Flower Farm.I will definitely be going back.”

“I went into the shop today for a bike fit. I had a great experience. The people are very friendly, knowledgeable and the prices are reasonable. A great deal of time was spent getting my bike to fit better. They use technology, along with experience to complete the bike fit and involve the customer fully in the process. “This bakery had amazing sandwiches, bread, desserts and hot chocolate! I was very impressed with the variety of foods they offered. I had a roast beef and brie sandwich which was made with real roast beef (not deli meats), caramelized onions, brie, greens and a delicious sauce. The portions were very large! Two of my friends could only eat half of their sandwiches.I highly recommend coming to this place if you want delicious sandwiches, quiche, puffed pastries, and cakes!”

“We went here on a date night. The food was excellent, we got all you can eat fajitas. The service was very very slow, we were there late and there was maybe 2 other tables in the whole restaurant and it took almost half an hour just for a drink, 20 minutes to get more tortillas so we could eat our fajitas. The servers were very pleasant though and the food was very delicious, I'm sure we will go back again but hopefully they can speed up the service a little bit.”

“Work at the mall and stopped in for a snack. Originally ordered just a hot dog but the young man behind the counter ( who was very friendly) recommended a combo with a poutine. Asked him if the poutine was good and he said yes. So that's what I got. They served it to me and it looked delicious. It tasted even better...lots of fresh cheese curd that melted under a great gravy. The hot dog was first rate too. Exceptionally fast service with a staff that couldn't have been nicer!!”

I think they use a thermos as opposed to container with a heating coil. I would like to see them consistently boil water.”

“Went for the play area. WAY too loud and very dirty. They need someone in there at least every 30 min to tidy up. Clearly, some pigs were there prior to our arrival and aren't intelligent enough to find the garbage bins on their own, leaving food in the floor, garbage on the tables, spilled drinks on the seats and dirty socks abandoned by their kids. Pretty disgusting.”

“We have never been more embarrassed and humiliated in all of our existence. We are away on a mini family vacation and discovered they have a Mr Puffs location here. We had been to the one in Whitby and had a great experience. Tonight the staff on more less made us feel like we were trying to scam them for $19.65 the transaction said approved on the machine and we showed him the transaction on the banking app to where it shows it came out and they pretty much held the puffs hostage and were doubting us making us feel like we were liars and thieves. Their demeanor was totally unprofessional and they were unpleasant. In all my years of dining out I have never faced a situation like the one tonight. We ended up calling the bank on top of showing them the transaction at which point the banking rep advised that in fact the transaction did go through. This back and forth went on for over 10 to 15 mins, the puffs we ended up getting were not one bit fresh and sat there in the tray for God knows how long before we got there which is a total no no as the owner in Whitby told and showed us the process. I will never enter this establishment again, no apology, no nothing but two staff with 0 people skills. How many other people have the tried doing this too? telling them the transaction wasn't approved when in fact it was. This was wrong on every level, and I have most definitely contacted head office about the lack of professionalism on both staff! My daughter was with us which made it 10 times worse to be doubted to the level we were. Whether it went through or whether it didn't though (WHICH IT DID) customers are always suppose to be treated like they are right no matter what, u should learn a thing or two about customer service before opening up a business where you have to directly deal with the public numerous times per day and should know that things won't always run smoothly. Thanks for ruining our great evening, at the end you should of given us fresh Puffs not hard ones and you most definitely should of apologized after the banking rep verified the transaction was successful!!!”

If you go on the right night you can get a rib and wing dinner for 15! Burgers are great and basically what you pay now at a fast food joint.”

“My husband and I recently ate at the Thai Express in Belleville. As soon as we walked up to the counter we were greeted by happy employees who did an excellent job helping us choose our lunch. I had the Singapore Pad Thai was delicious and my husband had the Pad See Ew. They were both delicious. We will be going back to Thai Express Belleville for more delicious Thai food. I highly recommend Thai Express Belleville.”

“Went for the play area. WAY too loud and very dirty. They need someone in there at least every 30 min to tidy up. Clearly, some pigs were there prior to our arrival and aren't intelligent enough to find the garbage bins on their own, leaving food in the floor, garbage on the tables, spilled drinks on the seats and dirty socks abandoned by their kids. Pretty disgusting.”
