“Always at the top of my list when I am recommending spots to eat to customers visiting the area. Its cute atmosphere is welcoming and the service is incredible but you won’t be able to stop talking about the locally sourced meals the chef has created. A little off the Main Street out in Waupoos it’s absolutely worth the extra drive time. I suggest ordering a selection of plates to share among the table whether you go as a couple or a group. Their non-alcoholic menu is one of my favourites in the area and they are very LGBTQ+ friendly.”

“Gorgeous settings, great service, beautiful place. It was the beers that were very disappointing unfortunately, not the establishment. The IPA (citrussy) was neither hoppy nor citrussy with no finish and the Lime beer was flat with little taste. So, if you go, and I recommend that you go, try different ones.”

“We had a great time doing the barrel cellar tasting experience at Huff Estates. We were welcomed with a glass of sparkling wine on arrival before seeing the production facilities, sampling the different wines, and learning about the area and wine-making process. We were able to round off the visit with a glass of our favourite wines and our cheeseboard sat out on the patio looking over the vineyard.

Special mention to both Brian, who led our tasting, and Sylvia who helped us select and purchase our the wines we wanted to take home. Both were friendly and gave us recommendations for what to do in the surrounding area.”

“We were a party of 6 last night and had a fantastic experience. The food was phenomenal but the service was top-notch! All three staff we interacted with were charismatic and personable. The hostess learned my mother was here from Newfoundland and told us all about the trip her friends just planned for the Rock, showing us the map on her tablet. Our server “Prince Charming” was so engaged with my step-son who is on the spectrum and can be very shy. It made my son’s whole night having a conversation with him about the Shrek movies and Puss in Boots! I could not say enough about what a wonderful experience we had at Hartley’s.”

Sometimes there can be a 10 or 15 minute wait but we only waited for 5 minutes when we were there today.”
