This is a must visit artisan ice cream shoppe for any serious ice cream foodie when in Picton. An Absolutely delicious natural product with some unique flavors. This is not a reseller of the typical local dairy products from Kawartha or Reid’s here, it’s all Slickers homemade treats.

Slickers Ice Cream offers a wide variety of ice cream flavors to choose from, along with a small selection of gelato. I highly recommend the Bacio gelato - it has a rich, thick, creamy texture and is absolutely delicious.

Slickers County Ice Cream - Picton is a popular spot for ice cream fans visiting Prince Edward County. Their unique flavors, such as Campfire and Blue Berry Cheesecake, are handmade and delicious. The Campfire flavor stands out with its smoky taste from toasted marshmallows, while other favorites include Jack Daniel and Chocolate, Sangria, PB & Honey, Maple Walnut, and apple pie, which tastes just like the real dessert. Visitors often find the rich, creamy ice cream full of local flavors, and the generous scoops make it worth the visit. The friendly staff create a welcoming atmosphere, even when there is a long line during busy times. The shop offers plenty of space for queues, and the portions are fair for the price. Although there is no indoor seating, many find nearby benches to sit and enjoy their treats. Some flavors can run out early on busy days, and the tubs may look a little depleted by mid-afternoon, which can be disappointing for those wanting specific flavors. Service is generally friendly and efficient, with staff doing their best to provide great service even during busy times. With its rich flavors and warm atmosphere, Slickers has become a beloved part of many visitors’ trips to Picton.
