Capers is amazing. I hosted my baby shower here the other day. Capers was so great and accommodating. The event coordinator is super nice and helpful. She answered all my questions and just made sure the space looked so nice the day of the event. The staff and bartender were super friendly. The food was amazing. Everyone at my baby shower raved about the food and it is so reasonably priced. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone and will probably reach out to host more milestone events. This place is a gem in Belleville 💕

They accidentally served a dish with allergens (pistachios) but, once spotted, they promptly replaced the dish with freshly cooked meat.

We were visiting from Toronto on our girls trip, and came to this restaurant yesterday as it has great reviews, the food was absolutely horrible, we ordered the salad, that was completely inedible And we returned to the kitchen immediately. However, when the bill came, they only reduced 25% and refused to take it off the bill. It’s not about us paying for the salad, it’s about the expectation of the fine dining experience that this restaurant Is positioning themselves to be- - No one came to talk to us, poor server had to apologize for the management. We were quite disappointed as it’s definitely not an experience you expect from a fine dining establishment Very disappointed with the lack of guest experience and expectation of the fine dining establishment. The only positive- Drinks and coffees were as per expectation.
