Ordered family meal, service quick and friendly and plenty of food to go around /excellent quality ! Will be returning !

My husband and I had Blue cod and chips. There is a good promotion going on for that right now. $10.99 per plate. And the portion is quite large (at least it was large for us). The fish was crispy and tasted juicy. Got an Orange Pekoe tea with milk on the side. We loved the place. The hostess greeted us cheerfully and the diner had a peaceful atmosphere. We were seated next to the window overlooking the traffic on the main road. It was quite nice to get away from Toronto city.

They have a Friday fish special, though still an expensive commodity, I think it has the best fried fish in Belleville. One box of fries is plenty for 3 adults.

Best fish & chips! Gracious, kind, cheerful service. I've enjoyed eat-in & take out. Lots of menu options too, for those who don't want basic fish & chips. Very accommodating! Oh, and great to take out for a picnic at the water!

Terrible. Was craving fish and chips and i ordered halibut . They asked how many pieces of fish I’d like and I asked how big they were . I was told 4 ounces . I ordered two for take out .

Instead of fish and chips I got CHIPS with a little bit of fish .

Nice portion of chips as they were coming out the box but the chips weren’t nearly crispy enough and needed more seasoning .

The fish portion was pathetic . I got the thinnest pieces of halibut I’ve ever seen. Both pieces combined weren’t even 4oz. I couldn’t believe they agreed to send this out but I guess people care less when it’s take out and you don’t see your order right away.

Also was just a light coating of flour no batter and it was spotty leaving uneven finish on whatever it is they were trying to serve. Fish was dry and not pleasant at all.

Tartare sauce isn’t made in house and lacked flavour as well.

Don’t understand how something as simple as fish and chips can get messed up at all. It only happens when you don’t care .

Don’t recommend you try this place at all.

Fish was great but fries were just ok. Daughters chicken fingers were over cooked and hard. She didn't even eat them and server still charged me for them.

Food was amazing exactly what you would expect, price is very good especially on the lunch special. Where this place rlly shines is its service as the chef was constantly making sure we had good food and gave us a free meal because it was our first time there. 10/10 would recommend
