It’s nothing fascinating, the food could’ve been seasoned better and the prices were a bit high for the portion size.
Also I’m not sure if that’s the standard in Canada, but I thought Mexican restaurants provided free unlimited chips and salsa? But I had to pay $15 for the chips and the three small sides you see in the photo.
Overall it was an ok experience but I don’t think I’ll be going back
Always a great choice for meals
Food was bland and chicken was overcooked. Lacked seasoning and all-around flavor. Server Dominic was great. Only saving grace for the experience.
Very good menu, well prepared Mexican options. Service friendly. Prices average
Wonderful atmosphere. Was looking for something different and stopped here. Not disappointed! Great service and food with many options.
We were drifting through Belleville, stomachs rumbling, minds set on something fast and filthy in the best way. A quick dive into the seedy back alleys of Reddit pointed us to Chilangos—a name that promised something loud, messy, and unapologetically flavorful. Sold.
We ordered like fools. Fish tacos, beef quesadillas, burritos stuffed with beef and chicken, more tacos—because when you commit to gluttony, you do it with both hands. The damage? $137 with tax. Not cheap. But if you're still measuring food by how far your dollar stretches, you're missing the point. The world’s gone mad—great value is a relic, like payphones and civility.
The food? A punch of flavor, the kind that makes you close your eyes for a second longer than necessary. Everyone was happy, mouths full, silence between bites. That tells you everything you need to know.
Only gripe? I tipped $17 on a takeout order. Why? Guilt, social pressure, the ghost of some barista past—who knows? No one held a gun to my head, but I walked away with a burrito and a minor existential crisis. That’s modern life for you.
Chilangos? Worth it. Just don’t expect it to make sense.
Brenda was our waitress and she was awesome! Food was great as well! Always a great place to go!
Family friendly restaurant with a convenient location.
Everything was decent. Drinks were strong (I suspect they weren't mixed as much, but still tasted great!).
Great Mexican atmosphere.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Clean washrooms.
All around, great experience

Always delicious and authentic 😋
If you're looking for authentic Mexican this place is the closest I've had in Canada. The food was so good, the Margherita was yummy and the service was fantastic. Would definitely go back next time I'm in town.
Both authentic Mexican and North American Mexican variations are available. Excellent food and service.
Mia was amazing!!! The food and the frozen Margaritas were great, too.
Thank you so much!
My husband and I stopped in for dinner. Wow!! What a great meal. We had Linda as our server, she was so kind and attentive. The bathrooms were so clean and looked great - as we were told they were renovated. The whole restaurant was beautiful and had a welcoming atmosphere. Will definitely be back 💗
