We dropped in around 11:30am. The restaurant has a warm and cozy Italian theme. There’s a piano in the dining room, red and white tablecloths. We ate on the patio. It’s huge closed in with a fountain and flowers in platters. The server was friendly. The menu had some expensive choices-$30 and up. We ordered the Cesar salad $12 and the Hawaiian pizza -$22. Dinkels Italian Restaurant is a hidden gem in downtown Belleville, ON that offers the fine Italian dining experience in a beautiful setting that harkens back to yester-year. Their menu is varied, and the food quality is top notch IMO. Prices are reasonable to say the least, and the ambience is comfortable. The wait staff are friendly, jovial, and make you feel welcome throughout the dining experience.
We went here two times over an extended stay in Belleville. Extremely impressed both times. The pizza and pasta are some of the best we've had in Belleville or PEC. Especially the pasta - the asparagus Rigatoni was surprisingly incredible.
