It's that time of year again for Food Trucks and Chip-wagons to open up again. And Downtown Julie Browns is my favourite one in the Belleville area.Signiature poutines, burgers, chicken and fish. Plenty of options. The service is always friendly and fast with fair prices. They make thier own burgers by hand, no factory box-burgers need apply.I usually go for thier BBQ bacon cheeseburger poutine. YUM!

I came here a week or two ago and got some hamburgers and fries and a poutine and I cannot stop bragging enough about how amazing their hamburgers are! Will definitely be my go to spot this summer :)

I don’t have a picture to share because it was so delicious I had to eat it immediately. 10/10. I had the fish and chips and it was a very generous portion and fair price. The chips were perfect and so was the fish - beautifully battered, perfectly cooked and not greasy at all. Came with generous portions of vinegar and tartar sauce. The delivery was extremely quick and super friendly. Better than restaurant quality. Highly recommend!

We just moved here from quebec and I can't say enough good things about this food truck! Found it on a whim and we were definitely not disappointed! We will definitely be back to try EVERYTHING else on the menu! The owner is amazing and although we only had the poutine it was cooked perfectly and brought right to the car! A plus service and even better food!!!!

Ordered the poutine. It was delicious. The gravy was well made and had a deep flavor. The cheese curds were perfect and the fries were crispy.

Downtown Julie Brown's Food Trailer sits in a pretty popular spot in the Foodland lot at the corner of 62 and Frankford road and it must have some reliable clientele because you're paying a premium for what you get; no combo rates offered here (a burger and fries is just the standard burger price plus the price of a small order of fries.I ordered the chicken club burger and, while there was a decent wait before my order came up, the chicken was breaded to-order with great flavour and a breading that was pleasantly light (not a fan of thickly-breaded chicken sandwiches like KFC... Popeye's gets a pass for flavour). The fries are exactly what I'd expect from a good chip truck in they're crispy on the outside but not burnt and a nice middle ground in terms of thickness between stringy McDonald's fires and thicker, 1/2" or thicker home fries you'll see at other trucks. With all that said it's fair to say that, even with the quality of their food, I don't think I'll be stopping by again and it just comes down to the pricing; it's a bit rich for my blood; $24.50+tip for my chicken club burger with fries and a pop.If you DO visit and want to experience it just like I did, grab yourself a chicken club burger with fries and an A&W root beer and top your burger with mustard, ketchup, a small dollop of BBQ sauce, pickles and a healthy helping of hot peppers.Happy food-trucking!
