Never been inside
I live down the street and wanted to give Gourment Diem another try. Probably my 5th time being here and still not a great experience. Super expensive grilled cheese off the bat that’s what I noticed and only this time I convinced myself to try it. It was sad. We spent over 50$ but were told they don’t give out the wifi password to customers.
The kid working the register was very kind and patient but the old woman seemed very low on patience today maybe she had a bad day I’m not sure but she came off as rude.
They should also have cups for people staying in the restaurant rather than tons of single use plastic. Gross.
Tropical sunrise smoothie was bland and caesar salad was very small. I think next time I’ll stick to L’auberge and Benjis for a local coffee. I will return in the future only for a block of cheese once or twice a year perhaps.

After having a broken truck close by, I had a visit to grab coffee and breakfast , I wish we had a place like that in Gatineau ! So lovely employees I wanted to hug them ! The menu is amazing , not all sweet but salty and tasty options ! Beautiful place, if we pass from this town we will absolutely be back 🫶

I love visiting this nice little place. The food is very good. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The ice cream is great too. It tastes like real ice cream. I definitely recommend this lovely little cafe.

I just watched the co-manager (or manager) send home a newly arrived trainee who arrived 10 minutes ago.
Girl was devastated mainly because they couldn't give her a proper reason why they were letting her go. I don't care how good their food or coffee is. I refuse to give money to businesses that treat their new hires and junior members like crap.

Stopped at gourmet diem for a quick lunch to take back to work, ordered a chicken caesar salad which rang up to $20 before a tip. I gladly added on a $2.09 tip (which was the lowest tip option by the way) because the young man helping was friendly and nice, expecting a gourmet Caesar salad (fresh Parmesan, nice chunks of chicken, something to justify the price). After waiting 15 or so minutes, I was met with a very small, very normal Caesar salad. There was 2.5 small pieces of very dry and bland chicken most likely made days prior, no Parmesan, for sure normal Renee’s sale dressing. And it was such a small size for the price. Unfortunately I won’t be back and I won’t be recommending them. If you’re going to say you’re gourmet and charge gourmet prices, please deliver gourmet items!
We've just returned from Montréal where we ate at the world-class Reuten's restaurant on Ste. Catherine Street... their reuben sandwich doesn't come close to Gourmet Diem's exceptional reuben sandwich!
The atmosphere at Gourmet Diem is relaxing and peaceful, the prices are reasonable, and the staff are delightful, especially the OWNER❗️
Ridiculously expensive for the portion of food you get. Online Pre-Orders are never ready for their scheduled pick up time. Staff are blunt & rude with customers
Best turneric latte I tried

The older blonde lady was super rude. I stood at the counter for a few minutes while she was on the phone. The price for espresso was erased on their chalkboard so I asked how much. She mumbled the price and I tried to repeat what I heard.. she turned her back to me… leaving me hanging.
Um, hello? Are you a business? Are you trying to make $$ because this isn’t how you do it. How about you try, “Hello, welcome to our cafe - my name is____ - have you been here before?”
I won’t be back.
Love my Saturday morning coffee!
The food is good but the customer service needs some work for sure
Another reason to stop by downtown Belleville. Honestly. The environment is nice, and they have indoor seating and patio. I had coffee and a sandwich. The bread was crusty, let alone the grilled cheese. They sell different types of curated stuff in the back. It gets busy.

Ordered 2 latte and a scorn, I wasn't expecting anything superb, but for $5.50 regular latte, this is probably the worst I have ever tried, I'm pretty certain they didn't do the espresso properly, the drinks are just some bubbled milk with a little browny color. I saw that they have a decent coffee machine there, so it's hard to imagine how they were able to make such a weak espresso. I make my own espresso at home every day for more than 10 years, so I know a thing or two when it comes to making espresso drinks.
Anyway, it is a nice place to sit, good location and deco, just don't order their espresso drink!
