It is great quality food with a good atmosphere. Prices are decent. This is Marc-Antoines favorite stop in Belleville.

I have been to many restaurants around the world and I know my way around the kitchen so I could say that I know my food pretty well. so I did go to this restaurant this week. I was shown around the restaurant by a staff worker that walked and talked like she was working for Walmart. she showed us around and I was surprised how large the place was and it was 6 p. m. , only 2 tables were occupied. We finally sat down by what I thought would be beside an indoor pond. Turns out it was empty pond but had enough water to go through the pump to shoot out some water for the sound. The empty pond looked dirty and felt like my table needed to be disinfected. We were greeted by a mature waitress that was very personable and aimed to please. The waitress came by with 4 very small slices of bread, the size you would get from slicing into a thin baguette. My main meal for me was the salad with a poached salmon. It turned out to be spring mixed with small soggy pieces of can peaches plus one dry cranberry and my poached salmon was square dry cold from the refrigerator. I recall reading of other ingredients that were missing??? For what they charged for spring mix and a small square of hard salmon, I was really disappointed.

Absolutely amazing experience! The food was delicious — true Italian flavors. Our server Deana, was fantastic: super friendly, kind, and full of charm. We felt so well taken care of. Highly recommended!

This is not authentic Italian food by a mile. The pizza tasted like it was store box pizza, the pasta was made with sauce from a can. The waitress was great and atmosphere was nice.

Paulo's Italian Trattoria is a charming local spot in Belleville that offers a delightful dining experience. The food is consistently good, with a variety of Italian dishes that are both flavorful and satisfying. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it a great place for a relaxed dinner.

Authentic Italian Trattoria in the heart of Belleville.

This place really has a vibe and experience that you would expect from a Trattoria.

Can’t wait for our next visit.

I was a regular at the restaurant since it's near the newspaper. I went there for dinner before I left... love their food, great ambience. Will surely be my regular place to go if Paulo's is still there when I visit Belleville.

The service was great the atmosphere was very pleasant, quiet and relaxing. They did all they could to make my wife and I happy. They were very accommodating, we arrived 5 minutes before the kitchen closed and they still were more than nice to allow us to order and take our time eating even allowing us to stay in the garden seating past closing. Would highly recommend

Our server was wonderful... The atmosphere of the building, and cleanliness was lovely. My partner and I went to Paulos for Valentine's Day. He booked a reservation well in advance.

He had the seafood pasta dish with the shrimp and arctic char. He said it was tasty. I had the rigatoni. It tasted no better than something we could have at a chain restaurant. I ordered it thinking it would be a whole new fresh taste.

I'm also wondering for the price of food ordered, why are place settings completed with stained dishes, paper disposable napkins and cheap utensils. I always thought Paulos was an upscale restaurant in Belleville. I guess I expected more.

It's no control that the restaurant would have but I was also surprised at people wearing plaid coats you'd wear for beers by a fire, ripped jeans, baseball hats etc. just seemed odd.
