“Jay, Lord of the Pizza.”
Walked into Pizza Nova in Belleville thinking I’d just grab a slice and get on with my day. Instead, I stumbled into a culinary experience so magical I half expected Gordon Ramsay to pop out of the kitchen and say, “Now this is how you do it!”
Jay — the legend himself — was behind the counter running the show like a pizza Jedi. This man doesn’t just make pizza. He crafts it. Michelangelo had the Sistine Chapel… Jay has the deluxe with extra cheese.
The crust? Goldilocks level — not too thick, not too thin, just right. The toppings? Loaded like it owed me money. The cheese pull? So dramatic, it deserved its own slow-motion montage.
Jay even threw in a “Have a great day!” with the kind of sincerity that made me question every fake “Have a great day” I’ve ever received.
Bottom line: If you’re in Belleville and not getting Pizza Nova from Jay, you're missing out on doughy greatness and pure mozzarella joy.
Would I come back? Already outside waiting for them to open again.

amazing delicious pizza with tons of customization options!! I'm lactose intolerant and their dairy free cheese is the best I've tried on a pizza so far! friendly staff, clean restaurant, A++! I was just a bit sad that they didn't have a dip option without dairy.
We have ordered twice from the Belleville location. First time was 25 minutes late. Second time my son ordered the chicken pollini, plain with sauce on the side. He watched me order what he wanted. It came coated in the sauce instead. Tried to explain this to customer service and she argued with me about MY order. We will not be ordering there again. My panzerotti wasn't as good as the first time. Very disappointed! I am writing to say thank you to Jay for making things right. I spoke with Jay and reordered. It was great! Timely and excellent! Thank you again!
