Our foursome had a lovely brunch at Quinte Restaurant today to celebrate a birthday. The staff went the extra mile to accommodate a service dog as well as our special occasion.

Arrived at 6.30 asked what time they closed told 7.30 . Ordered our meal . After waiting one hour we were told that we couldn’t get the soup it had to be hand made but the rest of meal would be OK . However , almost immediately we were asked if we would like to cancel . We said yes and walked out angrily and still hungry . Will never go back . We were trying to support a local family restaurant , but …….

Last Friday we went for breakfast, something we don't do often. The service was very good. The food was deplorable, garbage worthy. Sausage undercooked and warmed on the grill, eggs over easy undercooked as well, toast warmed on the grill with a squirt of oil and home fries cut boiled potatoes with vinegar or lemon sprinkled on them. Two thumbs down. We won't be back!

Wait time was crazy.
Only one server on. The owners came in and didn’t even assist, and didn’t even stay. Our food was cold. And no staff to tell. Waited forever for our bill.

Got club sandwich asked for mayo came out none send it back got a lettuce sandwich for 20 bucks hardly any turkey 1 piece of bacon from first sandwich since u could not chew it fries were raw and still no mayo not even cut in 4. Soup tomato mac was gross . Not usually cook on they ran out of fish but u could upgrade for 5 for the haddock ran out of mashed. Waitress was great u could see her trying to cook in the kitchen. Every customer was told sorry we ran out like really. Emailed restaurant never heard back. Will never go again

We got 2 BLT sandwiches and 2 milk and our bill was $30. We didn't figure a sandwich that costs $2 to put together was worth $30. Food was okay and quick to come out
