My meal didn’t match the picture at all

Do not eat here. Way better value for much better food elsewhere. Probably one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. We’re a family of four and went for an early dinner because we have young children. The place was so loud from the soccer game playing we couldn’t talk amongst each other. The kids got their food and their burgers were cooked to the point of being charcoal. My wife and I both got tacos, my chicken taco was completely cold, the chicken, cheese, taco itself. It was as if it came right out of a fridge onto my plate. My fries were soggy and under cooked. We asked for water on top of our drinks and received one glass. I won’t be going back and I recommend you take your family somewhere else that actually cooks their food.

We were really looking forward to trying the food and writing a positive review, but the experience at Shoeless Joe’s was honestly terrible. The place was way too loud—it felt more like a nightclub than a restaurant, which made it impossible to relax or have a conversation.

To make it worse, we weren’t even acknowledged for over 20 minutes after being seated. Once we finally got our first drinks, we ended up drinking them quickly because we were starving and expected to place a food order right after—but our young server disappeared for ages.

After waiting too long without any follow-up, we just asked for the bill and went somewhere else. Total shame. This could’ve been a great night, but the service ruined it. Won’t be returning because of this.

Stopped in for a late lunch food was hot and fresh drinks were cold. Game was on tv. No complaints

Service was absolutely horrible took almost an hour to get our food and my husband asked for coke at the beginning of his meal it arrived after we were all finished eating server was always just talking at bar..the restaurant only had 2 people at bar and 3 other tables besides ours if it was busy i would completely understand but when the restaurant is pretty much empty there is no reason for horrible service

While it’s a decent place, every fri/sat night they have a live DJ whose does a great job but the place is decorated like a cheap dive bar. Owner oblivious to how bad people, food and beer looks under all the silly cosmic bowling alley black lights they installed. Remove the black lights and have some bar science sense when you think bar aesthetics.

I wish I could give zero stars. Our hockey team was playing in Belleville and a reservation at Shoeless Joe's was made weeks in advance. We even had to email in our dinner choices the day before to help ensure timely service. We arrived for our 5pm reservation and they hadn't reserved enough tables for everyone. When we were eventually seated, the waitress took our drinks order and we gave our child's jersey # so our order could be started. It took an hour and 20 mins to get our food and it arrived cold. Our child, who sat with his teammates, told us after we'd left that his pizza had still been frozen. I spoke with the manager, who offered no apology, just told us they were trying to get 80 meals out. People who arrived after us, were served food first. I asked for a discount and she did give us 15% off our food, but our bill was still $100 for 3 adult meals that were cold and a kids meal that couldn't even be eaten because it was frozen.

Our go to spot to stop when traveling from Toronto to Montreal.

A perfect spot for a sit down casual visit with an excellent meal. Great staff. The TV in the booth is distracting but easily turned off if that isn't your thing. Had the steak frites with the criss cross fries, girlfriend had the chicken pasta - so good.

Will not be back which is unfortunate because we have enjoyed eating here in the past. Food was not good; i.e. soggy salad and flatbread not presented well. Margarita was almost sweet instead of sour; floor under our table was filthy and I am sure hadn’t been swept in ages. Not attentive or pleasant service! Sorry, not my style to leave less than stellar reviews, but perhaps this can be used to improve things for future customers.

First time being at this restaurant and very very disappointed on a dish I got.
One skew of chicken on a large bowl that should of had two to three skews with it and rice but no rice in the bowl too

Absolutely terrible service. Had to wait forever just to get seated and the restaurant was almost empty. Waitress was in such a hurry that she just spoke to us as she ran by, never waiting for an answer. Cutlery was brought after our food came. Just very rushed, not friendly service. If you don't have enough staff you should shut down half the dining area so that the 1 waitress has less area to cover. Waitress was also dressed so inappropriately, her chest was literally falling out of her top, completely exposed.
The restaurant was filthy, dust and food splashes everywhere. This is at lunch time at the beginning of the day, not at the end. The bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks.
The food was good except we asked for no pickles and the burger came loaded with them.
We will never go back.
