We love The Local. I am originally from the GTA area and am a huge foodie, and this spot is still one of my all time faves. We have come here 4 times, and the last 3 times we both order the burger. I literally, have not ever had a burger that good. Dare I say it is better than Five Guys. We LOVE it. Servers are knowledgeable and kind, letting me try different white wines so that I know what I want to order. We love coming here and will keep coming back!
Really enjoyed the river patio on a beautiful October 1 evening. As soon as the sun went down, the staff got me settled into a warm table where I finished my meal. An older woman, dining alone: one notices service.
If you stop by, say yes to pausing here. We had a lovely evening on our wedding🎊 anniversary today. Our spot was a great view of Moira River. We spotted local fish and turtles in the almost still water. The background music was supportive of an enjoyable time together surrounded by kind humans.
