**DON'T STAY HERE!**
My experience at The Travellers Inn in Belleville, Ontario, was a nightmare. I encountered bedbugs, a horrendous ashtray smell, and what was likely toxic pesticides on every surface. This place needs to be condemned.
The staff's response was equally disappointing. When I requested a refund, the front desk made a fuss, suggesting I switch rooms instead. I had to point out a live bedbug on the wall before they finally took me seriously to which he said “I will never deny bedbugs”. While they did move me to a slightly cleaner room, the fear of bringing bugs home forced me to sleep in the bathtub.
Overall, this was a terrible experience. My throat and sinuses hurt from the air quality/pecticides (?). I can't recommend this hotel to anyone. Save yourself the trouble and find somewhere else to stay!
Noteworthy details: Stay away! Go anywhere else.

Not sure what all these horrendous reviews are about… or we just got lucky? My room was lovely, smelt fine, bed was super comfy, not outdated at all. The furniture and everything was very nice, everything was clean, plumping was fine, etc. The hallway smelt like smoke but we used the doors for outside and didn’t really go in the hallway so it wasn’t an issue. Staff was very polite and professional and it’s in a very good location, close to everything. Great price, and everything else is pretty great too especially for a 2 star hotel.

Horrible! à éviter n'en vaut pas le prix! Annonce d'un restaurant, il est fermé, chambre non-fumeur avec odeur de cigarette et je me suis fait dire que toutes les chambres avaient cet odeur et que c'était normal... Tâches de sang sur le mur, tapis usé à la corde, murs sales, plafond cernés, c'est dégueulasse. Seul point positif lit confortable

Good location is all you can say about this place. The outside is run down and doesn't look like the pictures on the website. The floors in the units were covered with extremely dirty carpet. We would not recommend taking your shoes off if you have to stay here.

Misleading rating. Take the time to read the comments. Badly clean. My heart ached because it smelled so much of cigarettes.

I had a few different rooms wile I was there, each had a specific thing wrong with them, shower head fell off in 1, shower didn't work till the knob was in jus the right spot. Light didn't work in another room. If your jus crashing on the way threw town it works, but spending a length of time, nope. Although it is close to EVERYTHING, all types of food, bars, mall, easy to leave and get back to, coffee at the office in The AM. So for all the off things, there is jus as many goods, up to the individual to decide. Good for work not for fam.

Absolutely worst motel I’ve ever ever been too. The smell of the room was horrendous all you could smell is piss and must. My daughter physically got sick when she walked in. They only had one other room it smelled like smoke. Wouldn’t make any other accommodations or anything. Worst experience at a travelers inn ever. No refund or anything. Couldn’t even help us find somewhere else to stay. DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE. you’d be better sleeping in a tent or can. Complete bull

One of the creepy ones. Maybe just spend the extra money and stay elsewhere. From cigarette smell, burns and dirty furniture, to the sketchy staff and a dilapidated, closed attached restaurant, this place is a dump. I won't be back.
