Awesome brunch I had eggs Benedict it was delicious 😋

I do like this restaurant as it is, owned by local people that live, in this community or were here for a long time
the servers are great. and the food is pretty good
my. Only. complaint here would be in one week I ate here for breakfast peameal bacon with three eggs fry toast potatoes and tomatoes together my bill. Was,$19.76
the same week, I ate at a restaurant in Ajax call angelique's
and for a better breakfast a little bit thicker P Mill and the heaping of shredded potatoes and the excellent service there also it was $16.33
$3.43 cheaper, in Ajax and you have a better breakfast

like. I do say, I still appreciate Bowmanville family restaurant and I'm glad that it is here in Bowmanville not too many mom and pop places left

Fantastic place. Forget all the chain restaurants, this is where you need to eat. Generous portions, friendly and efficient service, old school Greek Canadian decor. Always a must when in Bowmanville

Washrooms are amazing. Clean. Fresh. Homey. Definitely on the visit again list. Don’t waste your time and money at a chain restaurant. You won’t regret visiting the BFR.

Tried to support local, regretful decision. We got to the restaurant and the waitress never tended to us, we were told to sit down wherever by a local. After ordering a chicken parm and chicken wings we waited no more than ten minutes and to our surprise everything was on the way out (obviously cooked from frozen) the pasta sauce was watery from being frozen then reheated, cheese was melted by microwave, chicken was dry and bland. The chicken wings were hard and taste like freezer burn. After my girlfriend finished her wings she went straight to the bathroom and puked. Food aside, I believe the owner sat in front of us with another local and that’s when we got a strong whiff of cigarettes. 0/10 won’t be returning
