This was a pleasant surprise that we found while visiting Bowmanville. We were looking for a place to have lunch and stopped in at The Toasted Walnut.
The menu is full of fantastic options and good prices. We had the Afternoon Tea for two and it was excellent.
The staff are lovely and the restaurant is cute. We are already planning our next visit!

Always a great experience! It was a busy lunch, yet the server was very accommodating and took her time to make us feel at home. Lunch was incredible, and the baked goods are the perfect treat to eat in or take home.

We decided that buying 6 was better buy and asked to take out the one scone we were eating. It seemed to be a big deal.. so we had our snack. Atmosphere seemed cool and when we left our tip for our waitress we emphasized who that was and when we left it simply was thrown into the tip cup at the till not sure if it goes where we wanted.
