Had lunch here 3 times in the past 4 months. Keep coming back because the food is really good, the price is right, and the staff remember and welcome us back every time now. Nice variety of Indian food from the north and the south. I love that I can order a biryani one day, a dosa the next, and a delicious stuffed roti after that. I also love the efficiency of ordering my meal at the counter, paying for it, having it brought to the table quickly, and then walking out with a wave goodbye when I'm done. The booths are comfy, and they play some catchy south Indian tunes while you eat. They also threw in a single gulab jamun for a nice treat. Bradford is lucky to have this little gem on Holland Street!
This place is a hidden gem for dosa lovers! The dosas were perfectly crispy, flavorful, and served piping hot. I tried the masala dosa which was incredible, with just the right amount of spice. The chutneys and sambar were fresh and authentic, adding the perfect touch to every bite. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the service was quick. The ambiance was clean and cozy, making it a great spot to enjoy a casual meal. Highly recommend if you’re craving South Indian food done right!
First time trying Indian food and I ordered it with an auditor from India for work … he was not impressed, he Complained about the okra bhindi and didn’t eat his meal. Said nans had weird texture ? No idea what’s good for Indian food so I can’t say for sure why.
incense burning inside the restaurant was a red flag for me- I have bad allergies for scent so just a warning to anyone else with scent allergy ! Very strong.
Had a lovely meal at this location. Ordered mild to spicy chicken kottu roti and it was heavenly delicious. A must try place. The hosts of this restaurant are very warm and friendly couple and treat you like family.
I always go to this place with my kids they love their cheese dosa. The staff is very friendly as well. we always have great time
Good food
Had pani puri it’s fresh
Really disappointed with idli and chicken biriyani I had from this expensive store . Plz don't visit this place its very expensive and food they are serving is too old and the quantity vice also its very little...
The chicken which I got was really black and taste one week old and quantity of rice and amount of chicken is very very less.
Idli batter was very untasty and the size and colour of the idli was too small and not white in colour. Apart from that, I didn't even get any single piece of vegetable from sambar and I can't call it as a Sambar too much lose and watery. I would call Rasam instead of sambar.
In total this place is not worth and its completely cheating the customer.
Plz don't visit and safe money...

They have one of the best Mango Lassi’s nearby and each time I order through Skipthedishes, straws are missing. So today, I tried ordering through Uber eats and the whole Mango Lassi was missing lol. I wonder who does the packing there, they need some training.
Their customer service is amazing . We went there 2 times and both times food and customer service was amazing thank you so much will come back again

I recently visited [Dosai Place Newmarket] and, unfortunately, my experience was not great. I ordered the veg samosas as starters, but they were overly oily and did not taste freshly cooked. The rose milk was also a letdown—it clearly wasn’t freshly made and had been stored in the fridge, which impacted its taste and freshness.
The overall dine-in experience was disappointing. The tables and cutlery didn’t feel clean, which made it uncomfortable. I also tried the kottu rotti, which was okay, but nothing impressive enough to balance out the rest of the visit.
In my opinion, this place needs improvement in terms of food freshness, hygiene, and overall quality to make it worth recommending.
The crispy, golden-brown dosa, paired with coconut chutney and sambar, is a masterpiece of simplicity and taste. Idlis, soft and fluffy... authentic tasty food...
Owner Jenifer was very friendly and sweet lady, it’s a family owned restaurant. Food and service was excellent one of the best dosa and kutturoti I eat in Ontario.
Jennifer is awesome. We made a reservation for 12. She made our dinning experience one of the best ones. We have been here multiple times and I would recommend it again. I came back today with a few more family members from Brampton, and they also love it.
Yesterday I order sambhar vada and dosa both of them totally tasteless waste of money
