Most favourite place to visit! Amazing food as always but the interior design with the pictures of Mahabharata attracts me a lot!
Really hats off to the owner who brought this idea and made it like this!!

Tried ordering a raita on the side from uber eats by willingly PAYING EXTRA the staff just blatantly refused like why do even open a restaurant if you don’t want to sell food

Extremely Disappointing Experience

I visited Annalakshmi to celebrate my friend’s birthday, and the experience was shockingly unpleasant. I handed the staff our cake before we started eating and asked them to bring it out after the meal. Once we finished our food and requested the cake, they brought it back exactly as it was — still in the bag, not even opened. It genuinely felt like they had no intention of letting us celebrate.

To make things worse, the staff were speaking in their local language in a tone that felt rude and dismissive towards us. When we confronted them, they claimed they “don’t celebrate birthdays like this with customers,” which is confusing and unprofessional for any restaurant.

None of the staff were willing to share their names when asked, making it impossible to report the issue properly. There was no manager or owner available to address the situation either.

What was supposed to be a simple, happy birthday celebration turned into an uncomfortable experience. Definitely not returning and would not recommend this place to anyone looking for good service or a welcoming environment.

First of all, you were not present when we arrived, so you wouldn’t know the expectations we clearly communicated to your staff. We handed the cake to your employee and specifically asked them to bring it out after dinner.

Second, we are pure vegetarians, and at no point did anyone mention your “EGG-FREE ENVIRONMENT” policy when you accepted the cake and took it inside the kitchen. If this was truly a concern, your team should have informed us right at the entrance or when we handed over the cake — not after the fact. Please don’t give excuses when this could have easily been handled with a simple conversation.

We have visited many pure vegetarian restaurants, and none have behaved unprofessionally or refused to be part of a simple celebration.

Since you were not there, responding with excuses instead of acknowledging the issue and focusing on customer satisfaction comes across as dismissive and rude. A genuine apology and willingness to improve would have been a better way to address feedback.

We went over there with friends and family to celebrate my husband birthday

For water I have ask till end that I need water we have 2 small kids with me
After finishing appetizer they don’t even clean table the plates are there and they bring main course, we have to tell them plz can you take this plates
They did not even respond
So bad experience
I will never ever go over there
That was one of my favourite place but from today I am not going over there
A last when we ask them for manager
All three employees rudely reply we don’t have manager
And we went today Wednesday 7:30 to 9:00 we were there
But very bad experience
And they even not think that they should be apologize.
I think I waste $228 today

I had a very disappointing experience with my dosa. While eating, I initially i ignored a few small pebble-like particles in the food, but toward the end I even found a hair inside the dosa. This is extremely unhygienic and unacceptable. The restaurant really needs to improve its food handling and cleanliness standards. I hope they take this feedback seriously to avoid such issues in the future.
