Pathetic behaviour..... Need to improve customer service

Worst cooked food. Today I visited annalaxmi restaurant as I ordered two chapati for pickup and it was uncooked.

I recently visited Annalakshmi in Toronto and had a wonderful dining experience. The food was truly a highlight—authentic, flavorful, and served with just the right balance of spices. Each dish felt like a celebration of south Indian/ Sri Lankan cuisine, with traditional flavors that were both comforting and satisfying.

The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. However, we were seated near a corner, which made it challenging to catch the attention of the waiting staff. It might be helpful if the restaurant installed a buzzer or call button for areas that are harder for servers to monitor. That small adjustment could enhance the dining experience for everyone.

Overall, Annalakshmi is a fantastic spot for delicious Indian food, with a friendly team and cozy ambiance. Just a little tweak to the service setup, and it would be near-perfect.

I visited annalakshmi yesterday.I ordered for dosa.one of the employees asked me to wait for a few minutes and offered me a dosa.The service was great.The ambience and atmosphere was also good.

Food was okay. Went with an expectation to eat authentic south Indian food but ended up with disappointment. But the service was good. The staffs are amazing and friendly.

Food was amazing. It was nostalgic for me. I will recommend this place for my friends. I loved the ambience and space is clean, excellent service. Today’s I have enjoyed my day with my friends. Overall experience was great.

I had poori with vadacurry, and also one idly with two vadas. The vadas were crispy, and the poori was good. The service was nice, and the ambience was also good.

We visited Annalakshmi Restaurant around 8 PM and tried the Podi Idly and Mysore Masala Dosa. The Idly was really nice, but the dosa didn't quite meet our expectations. The ambience was pleasant, especially since it was a complimentary day. The service was great—the staff were welcoming and made good suggestions. However, the seating area felt a bit congested, and the chairs were not very comfortable.

My family and I went to this chain tonight but I can't even comment on the food or atmosphere because no one bothered to seat us. The guy working the counter told us "just a few minutes" and then went about seating customers that came after us and left us alone to take orders from other customers. Another woman came to the counter, ignored my family of 4 completely and went to seat customers who came after us. Extremely poor and rude service. I wish I could give 0 stars.

No air conditioning… food quality is 2/5 and cutlery is broken plates, bowls.. waiting for bill took 20mints..

I had a spinach dosa and mango shake and found both to be exquisite and beautifully presented , the service was very friendly and very fast. Full recommendation.
