Don’t waste your money. I can’t tell you how dirty the floor and the plates were and the food quality was below average and overpriced!

I don’t know why I ate it but the food made me sick. Highly disappointed

Amazing dosa. Recommended by my Indian friends. Celebrated my bday here. Service on point. Large window and comfortable seating. Love it. Will come back when I crave dosa haha

I am their regular customer. I used to like their gobi manchurian, gobi 65, dosa and much more but i visited them recently and their quality of food went down drastically. I ordered gobi manchurian and it tasted like its spoilt and its gone bad. I told server they replaced it with gobi 65 and again same rotten taste. I cant eat it and left it as it is. Then i ordered rava kesari which was extremely sweet that i have to leave that as well. Their dosa was good, other than that i am disappointed paying so much since i cant eat since their food was spoilt or rotten i dont know but it was inedible . I paid around $70-$75 ,for all bad food. I wont be coming back.

Ordered Biriyani combo that had biryani rice and chapati. The chapati was not properly coocked , even I told to server they changed but it was like the same. Rice was also not good. Awful experience , wasted my money and 40 mins waiting time.

I recently visited Annalakshmi in Toronto and had a wonderful dining experience. The food was truly a highlight—authentic, flavorful, and served with just the right balance of spices. Each dish felt like a celebration of south Indian/ Sri Lankan cuisine, with traditional flavors that were both comforting and satisfying.

The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. However, we were seated near a corner, which made it challenging to catch the attention of the waiting staff. It might be helpful if the restaurant installed a buzzer or call button for areas that are harder for servers to monitor. That small adjustment could enhance the dining experience for everyone.

Overall, Annalakshmi is a fantastic spot for delicious Indian food, with a friendly team and cozy ambiance. Just a little tweak to the service setup, and it would be near-perfect.

I had poori with vadacurry, and also one idly with two vadas. The vadas were crispy, and the poori was good. The service was nice, and the ambience was also good.

We visited Annalakshmi Restaurant around 8 PM and tried the Podi Idly and Mysore Masala Dosa. The Idly was really nice, but the dosa didn't quite meet our expectations. The ambience was pleasant, especially since it was a complimentary day. The service was great—the staff were welcoming and made good suggestions. However, the seating area felt a bit congested, and the chairs were not very comfortable.
