The dosas here are definitely the highlight—perfectly made and paired really well with the green coconut chutney, which was fresh and flavorful. I also love their quick thali and their mango pickle is the best. Also, service is the quick and best.
However, the rest of the meal didn't quite hit the mark. The sambar and Chana Masala didn't taste authentic and lacked the traditional depth of flavor I was looking for. Great if you’re just stopping in for a dosa, but the side dishes could use some improvement.

The first time, I ordered rasam idly, and it was really good. That visit made me feel like I had finally found a perfect place to order South Indian food.
Unfortunately, the next two experiences were very disappointing. The second time, I ordered fried rice, which was extremely oily — I could only taste oil. I ignored it, thinking it might have been a one-time issue.
But today, my third order completely changed my opinion. I ordered onion masala dosa, and it was honestly the worst. The sambar felt like plain water, the red chutney was very poor, and even the coconut chutney was below average. This was not at all what I expected.
It’s really disappointing because my first experience was good, but after repeated poor quality, this will be my last time ordering from here.

We had parota, and it was soft, flaky, and perfectly layered. Each bite offered a wonderful balance of crispiness on the outside and softness on the inside. It paired beautifully with the curry and was filling without being greasy. Overall, it was a comforting and satisfying dish.

The overall ambience of the restaurant is warm, clean, and very welcoming. It has a spacious layout with plenty of seating, making it a great spot for families as well as groups. The vibe feels comfortable and relaxed, and the place is well-maintained, so you can enjoy your meal without feeling rushed or crowded.
What stood out:
Authentic South Indian vegetarian cuisine with great taste and quality.
Highly recommend the breakfast combos — very filling and great value.
The filter coffee is a must-try, especially if you enjoy traditional South Indian flavors.
Very family-friendly with lots of seating available.
Paid parking spot available right next to the restaurant, which is super convenient.
Would definitely recommend this place if you’re craving authentic South Indian veg food!

Decent experience, could have been better. We ordered medu vada sambhar and rasam idli, rasam was the best. Overall good experience for this price. One major concern- Found human hair in sambhar, I called a guy who was serving us, and drew his attention towards it, that was quite disappointing.

Have been here for the first time the food was really ok.
We ordered podi masala dosa which was super dry falling off from dosa and very hard to eat
Filter coffee just felt like water
The staff was really non welcoming no hospitality at all they were all standing in group in the corner and talking
On asking for any cutleries they make faces and ask us to use the same for the new orders as well

Annalakshmi South Indian Restaurant has quickly become one of my favorite places to eat, and my sister and I have already visited twice—and we’ll definitely be coming back again. From the very first visit, the experience felt comfortable and welcoming, making it easy to relax and enjoy the food.
The rava dosa is the star for us. It’s perfectly crispy, light, and flavorful, exactly the way a good rava dosa should be. We also really love the sambar idly—soft idlies paired with a delicious, well-balanced sambar that feels homely and satisfying. The food tastes fresh, authentic, and made with care, which makes each visit worth it.
The vibes are really nice—calm, pleasant, and ideal for a casual meal or a relaxed catch-up. It’s the kind of place where you don’t feel rushed and can actually enjoy your time. The atmosphere adds to the overall experience and makes you want to stay a little longer.
The service is friendly and attentive, with staff who are polite, warm, and happy to help. That friendliness makes a big difference and adds a personal touch that keeps us coming back.
Annalakshmi has now become our little go-to spot for rava dosa, and it’s always comforting to know there’s a place we can rely on for good food and a pleasant experience. If you’re craving South Indian food with great flavors and a welcoming atmosphere, this place is definitely worth visiting.
