Great service

I bought gillbaka from here and it was sooo stale and smelly. It was expensive so I thought it would have been good but sadly I regret shopping here. I been coming for a long time and I thought that what guyana fish quality is. but now that I went to a place called Jas Supermarket and tasted there guyana fish and it was 100000% better and fresher. I realized I was just being absolutely horrifically cheated here man. Very disappointed 😞

It was nostalgic visiting here. However, I gave 3 stars for the following reasons:

1. The prices are unreasonably high. For example, $2.89 CAD for a Kiss Cake feels excessive. Convenience is one thing, but there’s still room to be fair while making a profit.

2. The pone was unusually pale and had an overpowering taste of essence. It left me questioning the balance of ingredients.

3. While the pastry was somewhat flaky, it didn’t come close to the texture or flavour of a proper currants roll.

4. Unfortunately, the drops fell short in both taste and authenticity.

5. What happened with the kurma? I never see kurma look so before 🤦🏾‍♀️

On the positive side, it was nice to see a wide range of Trinidadian items available.

However, the overall quality of the baked goods doesn’t justify the pricing.

Excellent products and friendly staff

I LOVE this grocery. I can absolutely ALWAYS find whatever I’m looking for. My highlight is always the GoldenRay Salt Butter and the Nesquick Chocolate Milk that I was so fond of growing up in Trinidad!

Susie was super friendly, the food was delicious, good portion and good price. Will definitely be back with friends!

HORRIBLE!! Bought oxtail from them 20 lbs and the whole batch was spoiled. Cooked for over 4 hours and was still rock solid . Animal was definitely tortured or something before they killed it . I do not recommend this place

Went here to get meat seafood and bakery goods, , the duck is of poor quality, the fish and seafood is of poor quality, they all appeared to be in the freezer for way too long bakery goods is off high quality great ingredients used in the production of all bakery goods love this, the pine tart Chinese cakes, cheese rolls , bread etc all of which tastes excellent will definitely return for bakery goodies meat fish and seafood I will not return for these because these items I have tried before and they tasted consistently.rank for the meat, fishy for the seafood !!
