Very slow service wait 45 minute for order
Today I came with my friend , I had wonderful experience as food was really good. Highly recommended
The food was great and the place was clean as well. Butter chicken was very rich hi flavour. Staff could be trained a little better. Overall good experience.
Ordered butter chicken and cream roti . It was delicious and have perfect blend of flavours. Need improvement in drinks though.
Ordered butter chicken yesterday, and I was extremely disappointed. It was nothing like the original butter chicken served in Ludhiana at Baba’s. The taste, texture, and flavor were all off. If you’re expecting authentic Punjabi butter chicken, this is not it.
Baba special butter chicken is good. But as per price portion is very small
First time experience and tried their malai chicken and reshami chicken tikka.
Both were well marinated and rich in taste. But malai chicken was really yummy. 😋
Will definitely be trying more dishes.
We came with our family today and had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, and the service provided by Simar was excellent—very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!
Major frustrating language barriers here. If you are from India you’ll probably be somewhat happy, but I am born here in Canada and really struggled to communicate. The presentation of the plate was excellent. The chicken salad had adequate flavor on the chicken however some mouthfuls fell flat. I had a frustrating conversation with the waitress not understanding what the words “grains” “wheat” and “lettuce” means. I was assured the salad I was ordering had a base of lettuce, but it came with zero lettuce. She insisted naan isn’t made from wheat, it’s made from flour (which is wheat) but I couldn’t convince her. The other waitress confirmed it was indeed wheat. Risky for those with allergies for sure. The chef told me the main vegetable would be “capsicum”(which is actually bell peppers). Overall, I definitely wouldn’t return, it wasn’t worth the 15 minutes of trying to speak Canadian English and getting a lettuce free order I didn’t agree to.

This is 2nd visit, food is great. We have tried bar b que , daal makhni soup etc etc everything is great. The ambiance is good the staff manahill and simran r very friendly.
Hello all, It was mine second time dine in in this location. First time was good 5 out of 5 but this time sorry to say that service was not that great. Our host Tanu first forgot to give cutlery and after that I found the small disposable container lid in the drink and she offered me that she will not charge for this drink but I refused to get new drink and agree to cancel the order. At the time for bill she again charged for the drink and I told her that you told me that you will not charge for it and she said yes. It means that she was acting smart if I noticed in the bill that’s fine or not. If not that she will charge me for this. Very foolish trick she played with me.

I'm a foodie and have had the Baba's butter chicken more than two dozen times in India. But here I had the most unpleasant experience. From our order, butter paneer, butter naan & laccha parantha tasted average.
The butter chicken was smelly & stale and threw it in the bin after having 2 bites. Would not recommend due to average taste and low quality food.

To start with, this is the same butter chicken you get in Ludhiana, Punjab, India. This was second time take out but it was a disappointment. The butter chicken was under cooked with a smell in it and tandoori rotis were very very hard. You guys have a name brand when it comes to butter chicken but serving low quality food will only get you into trouble. Portion size needs to be worked on every food item you have . Everybody wants a value of money they are spending on you. In our first take out we ordered your fish and that had only pieces ( 18.99 something which is way too weird/ try king tandoori 's tandoori fish thats just like WOW). Consider working on the portion size of your food items and quality of your bread along with food items.

I would like to say a few things,
Firstly thank you for hiring Pakistani/educated/ English speaking servers. Hiring a Desi student, without the professionalism always kills the businesses and its ambience when they don't know the meat working in a non veg restaurant.
Secondly, having looking at the other location. The soups were 10/10. No cornstarch. Not like from a package like daal roti/awant and other restaurants.
I have eaten from the guy mother who invented this baba, yellow butter chicken.
The chicken... well it’s not fully the same. The onions in Canada are sweeter. They used them and turned the chicken sweet. Also in India they use something like half and half. Not whipping cream. Which made this into a Chawlas/baba chicken. In India they saute, the chicken in salted butter and then add it to the gravy. The gravy is even smoother. It was missing the green chilli paste that one puts in.
It was delicious, but when clients compare to the nostalgia. It will run into problems.
The tikkas all tasted more or less the same. Lack of marination on most. Malai tikka was the best one in so far.
The goat kebab was frozen, precooked and reheated. Dry as cardboard, but not as much soy/chicken mixed in. But yes, as an owner why would I serve that when the location is this new.
As a restaurant investor you can pick up this stuff right away.
