First time trying jerk chicken and the meal was excellent. Chicken cooked well and flavourful. Pasta salad was great as well. Both on the sweeter side but I liked that. And the lunch special is a good deal. Thank you for also keeping it halal as I was finally able to try it!
Worst service. staff have attitude i don't know why 😅😅
I’ve been hearing about Bakers for many years but never had a chance to make it to the shop. Lucky for me their food truck stopped by for a work event this week. The food definitely lived up to the hype.
I also want to make a point about the staff. They are all so pleasant. They work so well together in the truck which leaves time for small chats with their customers. Lovely people imdeed.
I came here with my boyfriend for the first time this week and the food was phenomenal. We each ordered the large jerk chicken with gravy and coleslaw, and it was some of the best jerk chicken we’ve had in awhile! Huge portions of quality meat, tenderly cooked, and super flavourful!
I’ve seen some of the reviews complain about the price and service, but our server was very kind, and the quality of the food matched the price.
We’ll definitely be coming back here again!
Had the small jerk chicken with coleslaw and pasta sides. A nice young gentlemen took my order and I only waited about 3 minutes.
The chicken was cooked perfectly and is the best jerk I've had. The portion is not large, but perfect for a lunch and the large option is available for the hungry.
Thanks for the great meal, see you again soon.
Honestly the meat here is really good.
HOWEVER..... I bought a lunch special for $9 and watched the lady scope 1 spoonful level of rice and make no mistake she threw back any grains that weren't level. I also bought a $18 dollar small oxtail and it received the same put back rice action.
Rice is a filler. How can I buy and consume a $18 dollar meal and still feel hungry.
I stopped by for lunch with my husband and we both tried the stew chicken and an order of plantain. The stew chicken was very different than others' I've tried but extremely delicious, and it was a good sized portion.

I recently tried Bakers Jerk House and was blown away by the flavors! The jerk chicken was perfectly seasoned with just the right balance of heat and smokiness. The rice and peas paired beautifully with the rich and tender oxtail curry, which was simply melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The pasta salads were a refreshing and flavorful addition to the meal. The portions were generous, and everything tasted fresh and authentic. I’ll definitely be coming back for more! Highly recommend Bakers Jerk House for anyone craving top-notch Caribbean cuisine.

One of the best Jamaican restaurants now only one thing jerk chicken too spicy...they need to start cook stew peas Jamaican way
Jerk pork is missing from the menu. But this is easily the best sit down Carribean food experience in the GTA. Service is great too.

We have gone here a few times with my work mates and the food is always top notch. We ate in which is not as common from what I can see. Most people seem to grab takeout and go but I really like that they have the option. Our servers have always been great. I had the jerk chicken with rice and peas and coleslaw. If you can't tolerate spice be sure to mention or ask for it on the side because the hot sauce is pretty spicy.

**Review:**
I recently dined at this Jamaican restaurant and it was a massive disappointment. I ordered a large BBQ fried chicken with oxtail gravy, and what I received was an abomination. The gravy tasted incredibly sour and utterly disgusting—definitely not the rich, savory flavor you'd expect from traditional Jamaican oxtail gravy. It was more of a culinary nightmare than a meal.
If you're looking for authentic Jamaican food, do yourself a favor and steer clear of this place. Save your money and your taste buds; you deserve better than this subpar attempt at Jamaican cuisine.
