Tucked inside of the Kennedy Square mall is this lovely banh mi shop. I stopped in for a quick bite, and grabbed a cold cuts banh mi for 5.50 (cash only). Delicious fare, good ratio of bread to meat to veggies and it's reasonably spicy if you get the pickled peppers. Not many places to sit inside but they seem to have other vietnamese classics. Hard to find food for as cheap and filling as banh mi, and banh mi brampton does it well.
Not the best bánh mì I’ve had, but not bad either! The sandwiches are decent and fresh, and it’s a good option in the Brampton area when you’re craving Vietnamese food. Bread could be a bit crispier, but overall it hits the spot.
Moving from Toronto to Brampton, it’s been hard to find a good, authentic spot for banh mi sandwiches. I came across this restaurant in a Google search, and I was not disappointed! It seems like the establishment is owned and operated by an elderly Vietnamese couple, who take pride and care in their work.
