Blackstone Steakhouse and Grill

I walked in on a weekday night; staff were by the kitchen chatting and had to walk up to greet me. The whole place was so bright, the vibe was hardly intimate or special. I wanted a relaxing night with a good steak but ended up walking out.

Even if the food is the best in the city, these are details a steakhouse needs to nail down in order to keep good business. Would recommend dimming the lights, redecorating and adjusting the atmosphere to elevate the experience.

Great experience with amazing food!

Ordered a 10 OZ burger for home, bit pricy but don’t mind considering the quality was there, it was proper !

We usually go to the Erin Mills location, but came here since they were fully booked. Big mistake. Despite the restaurant being empty and well-staffed, service was slow and inattentive. Our steak had a soapy taste, and staff were unapologetic and dismissive. Poor food quality, zero customer service, and clearly no training. Not surprised it was empty on a Friday night. Won’t be returning. Also, washrooms are disgusting.

Aman is an amazing server. She’s very attentive & sweet. I hosted a birthday party there 4 months ago & she remembered me right away. Her service & energy is warm & welcoming. She is a spectacular server.

Came from USA and heard lots about this place and it totally lived up to that hype! Amazing taste in steaks and great service along with reasonably priced!

The food was decent, but the service fell well below expectations. We ordered the Chef’s Tenderloin and the Chef’s Ribeye, but there seemed to be a serious lack of communication among the servers. After placing our order, we were approached multiple times by different staff asking if we had ordered yet , a total of four times. I understand that they want to make sure, but that’s too much.

It was also clear that the servers weren’t sure which table had ordered what. Our steaks arrived, but the cuts didn’t seem right — the one I received tasted more like a striploin than a tenderloin. On top of that, neither steak was cooked to the temperatures we had requested.

To their credit, they did offer me an additional portion free of charge. Ironically, it was only then that I realized my original order had likely been swapped with someone else’s — the second steak was clearly the tenderloin I had initially asked for.

While the staff were polite, the overall experience was disorganized and left a lot to be desired in terms of service quality.

The food was amazing. Very nice set up. Steak was well done as I requested but was full of flavour and still juicy.

Downside, the water was way too warm. Has to ask for ice cubes which melted as soon as I put them in my water and the washroom had a very strong smell of urine which can be smelt when standing by the front desk (cashier) and obviously got way stronger as walking into the washroom.

The server was very kind and polite.

It was okay food experience is not so good as i ordered chkn which was very dry and thin garlic bread wasn't a good choice to order overall ot was jst ok i am so sorry but thts an honest experience..
