This is my go to spot for carribean Chinese food. The special chicken fried rice with chicken on top is excellent and reasonably priced it's a must try. Place is old not much atmosphere but the food is solid. The pepper sauce is one of my favorites, they are little stingy with the pepper sauce but ask for more anyways .

Food ok. price good. But they only give you a clumsy plastic fork. No knife or spoon. They also count the number of napkins they give you. can't understand what they are thinking!

Calypso Garden has been our go to restaurant for many years for Guyanese style Chinese food. They do an acceptable job of it. The staff are friendly and we never have to wait for our take out order.

I recently ordered the chicken lo mein from this establishment and was sorely disappointed. The dish lacked essential components such as vegetables and the noodles were far from the traditional thicker consistency expected in lo mein. As someone who fondly remembers the delicious Chinese food from this place in my youth, I am saddened by the decline in quality under the new ownership. The attempt to brand the cuisine as "Caribbean Chinese food" falls flat, as this dish does not reflect the culinary excellence of either culture. It's a shame to see such a decline in a once-beloved spot.

I always go for the chicken wings and chicken balls also the curry chicken and cut up pork so good!

Such a shame inflation is a thing yes but what you don't expect is for it to reach a point where it's sad. This WAS A Brampton staple. But I ordered a mixed chow mein + mixed low mein + mixed fried rice. And they skimped out on the pork and chicken BIG time. Come on I know things are tight but no need to Rob people the way you did. So if your gonna be skimpy on the protein atleast lower the price. Will not be be sad because this has been a staple for decades in this city. On top of all that. The lady was soo cheap she didn't want to give me a plastic bag to carry my items out.
